Howard Johnson by Wyndham Vicksburg

Good location, very nice staff! The morning manager Mr Jack was great to chat with, and the afternoon clerk was very sweet as well. I ended up extending my stay here twice, since it was very convenient and well priced. It also felt very safe and quiet, which was an important factor for me. Wifi was very solid. Will probably stay here again the next time I’m in town.

The room has everything you need but it’s not brand new. The shower was a little slow to drain, the blanket showed some wear, and I couldn’t figure out how to get the cable to work, but none of those things really bothered me. As long as you’re not looking for a luxury experience you should be fine. The fridge and microwave were very useful for my longer stay and having the sofa area was a plus.

Great price for a good quality room right off the interstate. Staff was SUPER friendly! Plenty of room inside the bedroom area and bathroom layout was great. Also very thankful for charger plugs on BOTH sides of the bed! After traveling 30+ hours on the road it was nice to have a good clean bed to lay down on and on the plus side it had a microwave and fridge. :)

Not necessarily the cleanest place I’ve stayed. Nothing specific sticks out other than wondering if the blanket was truly washed and the carpet feeling a little dirty. Just didn’t have a sparkling clean feeling, but it was a cheaper place to stay, so that is expected.

Omg it looked just like the pics. It's was super super clean and quiet. In a good part of town with a lot of places to eat around. Hotel manager had a very positive attitude and was very friendly. Made me feel welcome. The room was a very nice size with 2 chairs as well. Equipped with hair dryer, coffee pot and coffee, TV, mini fridge and microwave and also an iron. Would deflee stay here again. Very cozy. The bed was phenomenally comfortable. 😊😊 oh and there was good working wifi too! And finally a hotel with enough towels! Their water got super hot which is a plus for long hot bubble baths

Your internet service was good. Your staff was very friendly and supportive. The area was quiet and close to a variety of places to eat.

Unfortunately, because of COVID we were not able to have breakfast. The parking lot had rubbish for over a 24 hour period but was cleaned within 48 hours. A little table would have been nice to have.

Wonderful proximity to historic downtown! Plenty of carry-out/drive-thru restaurants and/or coffee for eats to bring back to motel after a long day. Easy accessibility to virtually anything needed, and easy hop on/off from expressway. The rooms were clean, quiet, well appointed for the rate, and SAFE. Much appreciated.

Rate included breakfast. Due to CV-19, I wasn’t surprised a hot breakfast wasn’t available. Totally fine. And expected. But they offered nothing, like a brown bag breakfast of: cereal with a single milk, granola bar, a piece of fruit, or the like as a substitute.

This was a nice, clean hotel for a very good price

Desk employee didn't understand what I was saying when I asked if they had any transportation to the hotel, we were stranded at a car dealership when we broke down. Coke machine was almost empty, and no breakfast due to COVID (but web info still lists continental breakfast included.)

Kinda difficult to communicate during check-in but not impossible and the front desk guy was nice enough that it didn’t bother us that he was a bit limited in his ability to communicate.

Lady at front desk was super nice and very helpful. Treated me like family. She was the nicest person I met in Vicksburg. Size of the room was great. Location is awesome!!!!

Pillows were awful. Thin and very soft. I expect more for a king size bed..hair dryer didn't work..

I was happy to see that it was the old fashion Howard Johnson’s with the blue and orange colors throughout brings back lots of memories I was very happy

No breakfast b/c of Covid, but the lobby coffee was excellent. And there are plenty of restaurants nearby.

Not much I didn’t like, and I’ve seen good and bad.
