Pros: Great shower with good pressure and massage head, remarkable breakfast, comfortable bed, good room size, attached restaurant food was excellent, and a mini fridge to store our leftovers. Staff was very friendly.

Cons: Parking was a problem because of the attached restaurant. Breakfast is served in the pool area that was very hot and humid to sit in. Room was not thoroughly cleaned from previous occupant. Was not told had to request room to be cleaned during multiple night stay. Fortunate to not have a room on the side of the pool as I believe the noise would be loud.

I loved the breakfast; I loved the room and I loved everyone involved in my stay. I loved the fact that the Owner actually was involved with socializing with the guest. I had an uncontrolled problem that financially put me and my wife destitute with our stay and we were pretty much stuck in our room, it destroyed any memories that we could have on this vacation. Once the Owner found out about my unfortune he made it possible for me and my wife to enjoy our last day with them. I could never thank him enough he is one of the most compassionate and understanding persons I have ever met. AAA+++

NOTHING TO REPORT

The location was great--nice area to explore by foot. Left the car at the hotel and walked through the neighborhood to a public park and beach. Walking the opposite direction was a nice shopping area, along with restaurants. Since we stayed one night (a Monday), several of the restaurants were closed. We found "Washington Square" and had a lovely dinner outdoors. Our room was clean and comfortable, but the cost was higher than we normally pay for a room at a Best Western. The location and time of year (August) was likely the reason for the higher cost.

Other than a higher cost as mentioned above (which we knew and gladly paid), there was nothing we did not like. We only stayed one night because we were on a road trip to see family.

Rooms were clean and the staff were super friendly and willing to answer any questions. Breakfast was good and had a good selection to choose from.

The hot tub wasn't very warm. They did have a wedding the weekend we stayed so it was a bit busy and louder to the guest coming from the wedding early in the morning. However they do supply ear plugs in the nightstand but didn't see them until check out.

Loved the whirlpool suite! The room is huge, had a pivoting tv, everything about it was exactly what my wife and I wanted for our stay.

Mixup with our reservation meant we stayed at another hotel for one night. But our stay was totally comped, they went above and beyond making things right.

Loved the restaurant! Beautiful with great food and service. Our “suite”had a living as well so plenty of space!

No signage at he hotel entrance to the restaurant so we didn’t know where the hostess was or who would seat us. Had to ask the bar tender.

Nice room, we stayed in King Jacuzzi suite, enjoyed dinner on site, and breakfast. Check in was smooth, very friendly staff, great food, neat atmosphere for the entire building especially the restaurant.

The king jacuzzi suite needed hooks for used bath towels and more closet space. It was also a very busy weekend with lots of people staying but you have little control over that. It's good to see you busy, it just causes the stay to feel packed and noisier.

Breakfast was tasty with several options. Room was large and comfortable. Very quiet. The hotel owner introduced himself to guests in the common areas (poolside, breakfast) making sure everyone was happy. He was very eager to accommodate any needs or concern people had.

We noticed the elevator felt and sounded a little rough when we arrived. When we checked out it was out of order for repairs. We are able bodied, so hiking down the stairs from the3rd floor with our bags was not a problem for us.

Great location. Pleasant and helpful staff. Nice pool area to gather with family. Great restaurant on site. Rooms were clean and bed was comfortable. Nice having breakfast and coffee each morning. Heggies pizza at front desk was also a great bonus for late night food!

Somewhat sensitive to sounds, could easily hear people just walking by outside of our room; any groups of people or louder kids were heard very easily.

We came for a relaxing night to take in the whirlpool/pool. A little busy but OK. Dinned at Rudy's Red Eye and had Walleye and Scallops, good flavor and good choice.

There is nothing we really didn't like. We navigated through all the high school tournament excitement, no problem!!!
