Red Carpet Inn Rochester

Found out the pleasant woman who checked me in was also the owner; she is friendly & was extremely helpful on both of my stays so far! Excellent location for what we needed, too!

Didn't realize that the mini fridge was unplugged on my second stay (found out in the morning at checkout that they sometimes unplug those to save on electricity, which is understandable), so I had to throw out some leftovers & milk as I was unsure of its safety to consume after that stay, but no big deal. Next time I'll know to check this before I go to bed!

Great staff and overall reasonable experience. The hotel is very close to many other retailers, make easy for shopping within walking distance. The staff was very responsive to requests and always available.

Dislike Bed- It was not comfortable to sleep or sit on, the mattress was warn-out and sunken-in, wifi was very slow. Another dislike that is more circumstantial is noise/insulation, often times when neighboring rooms close their door it sounds like the door of your room has been closed (very loud and little verve racking)

The lady at the front desk was especially nice and very understanding. I needed to book the room for just one night because my furnace went out in my place and had to wait till the next day for repair. Even though I am a local resident of Rochester she still let me have the room for the night even though it is technically against their policy. Thank you so very much. I appreciate you very much. It wuz quiet & private & they accommodated me well for my deposit as I had paid online but wuzn't aware I still needed a cash deposit.

They were very strict about guests my driver wuz denied allowance to use the bathroom after a 2 1/2 hr drive.

I like the staff. It was pretty quiet. It was cheap. I could rent a room with a debit card and ID with a 50$ deposit that was refundable.

I asked for an extra blanket but didn't get my request. Does not rent to locals.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Clean rooms, hallways, office. Very convenient to location of Gold Rush. Great parking and access to highway, shopping, etc. Thank you for having the room cooled prior to my arrival!

Perhaps larger bath towels. But overall, very nice. No complaints!

Nice and clean room with good facilities. Lovely and big bed. The man on the desk was super friendly and accommodating.

Got woken up a few times by the traffic and my neighbour however, i’m a light sleep and I’m sure others would not be as affected.

Everything was great! No breakfast, but that's ok.

Heat was not good, smelled like the unit was on fire. I wish they had different coffee makers.

I was at a conference in Downtown Rochester and the Red Carpet Inn was easy to drive to each day. There were many restaurants, a Hyvee grocery and Kwik Trip gas station close. The people at the front desk were friendly and very accommodating.

The gentleman at the front desk was so nice and welcoming! Great location with comfortable, spacious, clean rooms. The price was great for the accommodations.
