Holiday Inn Express Frankenmuth, an IHG Hotel

The breakfast was very nice. They offered two omelet options which were good, but I would have liked scrambled eggs (that's just me, of course). Everything else offered was excellent!

Our room was very warm when we first arrived. We mentioned it to the front desk staff. A fellow standing nearby looked at us and walked toward the elevator. We had to ask the staff, "does that mean he's checking it out"? They said yes, otherwise we wouldn't have known. When we returned later in the day, the AC was perfect. The room was nice, but I felt it was slightly overpriced.

the Holiday Inn is perfectly located in downtown Frankenmuth across from shops. Great breakfast and staff were very nice and accommodating. we had a group of 30 stay here to attend the 80s fest. As the organizer for our group, the front desk staff were organized and made check in speedy for our entire group making my job easy. One person in our group commented that he never checked into a hotel so fast. Awesome. would stay here again.

we did have a few complaints in our group about cleanliness. In one room, sunglasses were found under the bed from the night before. in another room, there was hair in the bathtub when we arrived in the room.

The staff exceeded our expectations. The young girl that checked us in was sweet, and extremely helpful. Then one day the main area was filling up for the breakfast crowd, and one of the hotel staff took us to the meeting room so that we could sit at the table in there instead of the children's table in the breakfast room. The location was also PERFECT. Once we parked that first day we walked to most places that we wanted to see, as this hotel is downtown. We would highly recommend the Holiday Inn to anyone going to Frankenmuth.

very clean. room was comfortable and inviting. within walking distance from shops and restaurants. i had a great view of Main Street which was decorated beautifully for the holidays. the breakfast was very good- tons of selections. the staff was very friendly and attentive.

parking could have been a bit better. it was very busy during this stay and there were limited parking spots. i was worried i wouldn’t be able to find one. i was a little disappointed when i called and asked if i could do an early check in and they couldn’t accommodate me. i do understand the hotel was very busy and my stay was during Christmas break and i know there is a shortage of workers everywhere- but i was given a short “no” answer instead of explaining why i couldn’t. everything else about my stay was great. i have stayed here multiple times and will continue to come back when i visit the area.

The location, value, size of room/s, and breakfast buffet.

One of the main problem is not new to this hotel or any others, which is I book for a large number of guests (6) and there is never enough towels, washcloths or hand towels(here we had only 3 towels, 2 handtowels and 3 washcloths). At the very least hotels should assume each adult would want their own towel and washcloth. The other issues were small enough. I requested a last minute rollaway, which should be noted was in great condition, however they had no extra pillows for the rollaway or the sofa pull out. We had good enough pillows on the beds to be able to share off the beds thankfully so this was minor. The toilet had a mark on the lower part of outside of bowl that was not cleaned which was quite disgusting, but did not interrupt our trip enjoyment.

Nice comfortable amenities. Daily full breakfast each morning. Great location to Downtown Frankenmuth. Desk staff were friendly and accommodating. I would consider this hotel again in the future.

Hot water was not available upon arrival on the first night which resulted in no showers until the following morning. Although the daily breakfast selections were great, they were the same for each day. A little variation would have made for a more awesome experience.

we stayed in a king suite which was plenty of room for the kids and their friends to be comfortable. Both front desk attendants, Evan and Tonya went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. My windshield wipers broke (during an ice storm!) and Tanya called the auto parts store to tell them we were on our way and what we needed. Fantastic customer service!! The pool was nice!!

coffee mugs to have for the microwave world be nice. Also, more places to hang wet clothes from the pool and more towels stocked to begin with.

Great room overlooking the city and River. Great breakfast. Central location to shopping and dining. Our second stay there. First time in 2014 I believe was brand new. Staff was excellent as well as the location. Great to see the Christmas lights and ice rink from our room. Within walking distance to everything but Bronner’s.

The shower is gross. Lots of mold and grout needs cleaned. The holder for the shower accessories was not secured and needs tightened. The room needs better cleaning.

There a train in the lobby(that was a cool touch) Right across the street from River place shops. They have DOVE products that was nice. We had a large room. Pool had adult only hours. Breakfast had a lot of hot food to choose from.

Once you found a parking spot, do not leave. Small parking lot. On Friday 1/27/23 the Breakfast lady was NOT FRIENDLY at all. The bed was so hard. If you love waffles, there is none. No happy hour.

Friendly staff, clean environment, close to everything needed in Frankenmuth.

Booked room with two beds and sofabed with intent on utilizing all three but sofa bed had no bedding. I had to go to front desk for bedding but only received a fitted sheet and a very thin small blanket. Had to ask for a pillowcase. Sofabed was uncomfortable anyway but even more because bedding provided was inadequate.
