Comfort Inn Near Greenfield Village

decent quality rooms with nice beds; good breakfast; staff was really helpful, I got an early check-in even though they were fully booked

sadly there isn't a direct entrance to the Ford museum so you have to go around ;-)

We stayed here due to an extended power outage. The facilities were clean and quiet. The internet was incredible. I was able to work from the hotel room with no interruptions. Other local hotels were price gauging due to the storm power outage but Comfort Inn did not.

Note: none of these would prevent me from staying here again. These are petty, but you asked. 1. I enjoy hot showers. The water tempterature was acceptable but I would have liked a hotter shower. 2. There was no fruit at breakfast. 3. The #4 was not illuminated in the elevator. This bothered my husband, for some reason. 4. The back entrance was not locked our first day at the hotel. After that, it was secure and a key card was needed. 5. Wifi and key access card are reset on Mondays but we were unaware of this.

The bath/shower is extremely slippery, no mat, no grab bars. It was not rectified after speaking to the front desk. Mold around the tub and wall. Minor items: some elevator indicator lights are inoperative, credit card machine was not working properly, your web page states free shuttle from Detroit Airport - it has been discontinued, "Near Dearborn" implies transportation provided to Dearborn Village, no such service.

Location and breakfast was good. The room was fine.

We happened to get into the area early and stopped to see if we could check in early. The answer we got was that they had clean rooms but there would be an extra charge of $25.00. We decided to go ahead with that because we were going to be out the rest of the day and wanted to be settled. We have never had that experience at a hotel before--as a matter of fact the night before we stayed at a Drury Hotel in Frankenmuth and had the same situation and they said no problem and gave us our room with no extra fees.

The mattresses and pillows were some of the MOST comfortable I've slept on in a very long time! I'd love to have that same brand at my home! And the breakfast was very good - even had biscuits and gravy, something I've never seen before at a hotel breakfast service! The staff was very helpful - helped me get a needed document printed off, and they were very understanding after a handheld mirror broke in our room.

Some areas of the building looked like they'd been well used, but definitely not enough to complain about.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming to my group during our stay. Even offered to use the dining hall for a quick meeting between our delegation and staff members. Ample parking space and the round the clock service was astounding. I once saw a staff member refill the complimentary ice water at the lobby at 10 PM! That is orientation to service at its best.

Breakfasts was fine. Location was convenient to the Henry Ford museum which is what we traveled to see

Our room happened to be next to the breakfast preparation room and the sound of banging pots and pans woke us up earlier than we planned. Should probably save that room as a last one to rent. We were there earlier in the day so we should haven been given a different room. I’m sure the front desk is aware of the location of this room.

The breakfast was very nice and well maintained and restocked. The location was very close to where we were going and we were able to walk to a restaurant for dinner. The front desk person was professional and courteous.

The toilet was leaky and would fill throughout the night. We told the staff in the morning and hopefully they fix it so it can be quieter in the room.

The bed was so comfortable and they had the room I needed for the condition that I was in. The staff was nice too. Wifi worked and the temperature of the room was just right for sleeping. My kids and I enjoyed our stay.

Bathroom was a bit dirty and a roach was found by the door as we were checking out. So it kind of stopped us from wanting to eat breakfast there, which I'm sure was good, giving the amount of people that were eating. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

quite a few options for the breakfast menu. And the staff hustled to make sure that the supplies were kept up so everyone could enjoy.

Could have probably used a couple more waffle irons so that the wait time would have been shorter. I believe that the Hotel was close to capacity during our stay.
