Charlevoix Inn & Suites SureStay Collection by Best Western

Great experience and service from the (Red head with the beautiful freckles) evening front desk personnel. Friendly and had lots of help/information. Super nice and each time we came into the lobby, was extremely friendly and remembered/referred back to our conversations with additional insight. Slept well and guestrooms were spacious. There were breakfast options although all I had was the coffee which was delicious. Although the facility could use some updating would definitely stay again and are planning booking again for next year!

Guest bathrooms could use an update but not really a dislike. The guestroom security lock was broken on our door but still not a dislike as the door bolt work perfectly.

Price,location,staff,facilities. This hotel is located about a mile from downtown Charlevoix,a very short drive or a relaxing walk away. The price was extremely reasonable compared to other hotels in area. The staff was very friendly and helpful,went out of their way for all of us who were taking part in the Charlevoix Marathon. They had an early breakfast Saturday for us runners which was greatly appreciated. The room was large,with a comfortable bed,the TV had a great selection of stations.

I enjoyed the breakfast. Staff was keeping it stocked well. The beds were comfy. I slept very well. We used the pool and hot tub. Pool was smaller than I am used to. But it was fine for my niece and I. We were the only ones in it at the time. The air conditioner worked very well.

The doorways a little small to bring the cart with our bags on it. We had to just stop at the door as and bring the bags in. The room wasa little small all together.

It was great having a free breakfast every morning. A indoor swimming pool and jacuzzi the staff was friendly and got what we needed when asked location is good and will stay there again in the future .

Stayed for 8 days had to ask for clean towels and did get them But asked if we could have our bed sheet's changed but they never did change the bed sheet's.

The facility had everything we needed for our overnight stay.

Not the fault.of the hotel, but they are in the middle of an extensive remodel. The kitchenette was closed partly due to Covid and partly due to the remodel, so no big breakfast, but they did have yogurt, and a microwavable breakfast sandwich offered in the lobby. And the kitchenette did have coffee and juice. Carpeting in our room had bits ot spackle and paint smears from the remodel, assuming carpet will be replaced. The shower door had knows on the outside, but none on the inside. I couldn't get hold of the door anywhere to secure it closed. Luckily my wife closed from out side for me.

Good price, clean, good location.

Keycards repeatedly did not work properly; I know the system will be replaced very soon, but it was still quite annoying. Plus, the coffee was really not very good, even though the machine that dispensed the coffee seemed to be an outstanding way to dispense coffee.

Fairly good structure of the Inn. Wall structure was very solid and refraining of noise.

The ceiling (floor two floor) was not so secure. The upper tenants were very disturbing (foot traffic) and at a very high noise level. Not good at all. Poor sleep for us and our watch-dog Poodle.

Nice location, clean room.

We were traveling on motorcycles and when I confirmed our reservation the person I spoke with told us all motorcycles could park under the awning incase of rain, but when we got there and it was pouring rain we were told we couldn’t.

The location was easy to find, and was less than 4 miles from my delivery location...very convenient! The room was modern and very clean.

I am accustomed to using a thinner pillow at home, but all the pillows in the room were "thick"...I wish there would have been at least one thin pillow...I would have slept better.

Room was very clean, bedding and all Staff was very friendly and informative. Continental breakfast was fresh and yummy with the typical quick grab and go plus waffles and biscuits and gravy. The price was perfect, under 200 for the weekend.
