OMG, I love this place! It is my 4th stay there in 2 years. Pat, the woman who runs the place is down to earth, welcoming and so interesting to talk to. Each time I am there, a U of M student is working the kitchen. I have always engaged in with this person (she cooks eggs to order, cleans up the dining/kitchen area, makes coffee, etc) and love that they are always willing to chat and tell about their studies, etc. if asked, but the default is to allow the guests to lead -- so as to respect the guests wishes and make the stay an individualized experience. The decor is unique and such fun; the rooms are lovely, large and each have a fun theme. The king-size bed in the Laguna Room (where I stayed my last 2 times there) is sooo comfortable. Lots of nice amenities. Onsite parking is fantastic as this place is basically on Ann Arbor's campus. I could go on and on.

Location is fantastic, right next to campus and walkable to the restaurants and sites on State St. and Main St. Owners are lovely, helpful, flexible and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious with good variety and choice of hot eggs. The place is quirky and with lots of random furniture and knick knacks and souvenirs collected from all over the world. Not upscale or sterile by any means, but homey, casual and comfortable, if that's the kind of ambiance you like. I was in the room upstairs which I think is different than the rest of the guest rooms. It is basically the attic of the house, large with a private bathroom and balcony. Balcony overlooks the main street, which is noisy, but nice feeling a bit connected to the city. A bit warm up there for a spring day, but fan was provided.

The location is super convenient being right across the street from the UM campus and walking distance to the commercial adjacent to campus along Liberty Street. The property was spacious and cozy, with all the services you could possibly want such as washer/dryer, a great breakfast spread including hot cooked items, good size fridge, coffee/tea maker and TV with all streaming service options.

Nothing! Couldn't have been better!

This is a quirky place right near the centre. There was private covered parking. Everyone knows this place because it has a great reputation and lots of xmas decorations outside when we were there, which people passing by stop to photograph. Our room was a loft with skylights and a balcony on the street side - but it wasn't noisy and rather nice to look out on to the campus. And beautifully warm with adjustable heating (if you didn't want it so warm). Great shower (worked, good water pressure). Comfortable bed. Everything we wanted was there.. often you miss those little things but they were all taken care of, even as many coffee pods as you want, extra towels etc.. Little table for our laptop. WiFi excellent. Refrigerator. Good lighting when it is dark. Fabulous breakfast in a great setting - full of knick-knacks, very colourful and homely. Pat is a wonderful host and looks after your needs. I will always go there when I return. It is really good value for money.

This particular accomodation had a little spiral staircase up to the room, which is not handy if you have a lot of (heavy) luggage, though we managed.

Pat was an amazing host and she made me feel so comfortable and welcomed. She offered a later checkout and/or the ability to hangout in the common area while waiting for my flight out of DTW. Breakfast was outstanding - eggs cooked to order with coffee, OJ, breads, cereals, etc. Fruits, pop, and chocolates were available in the common area throughout the day. I'd definitely love to stay here again when I'm back in town. The location also cannot be beat. It is steps away from UMich and downtown Ann Arbor.

The architecture is unique, maybe 60's or 70's vibes with interesting nooks and crannies everywhere. We stayed in the loft which can only be reached through a spiral staircase and we enjoyed the 4 skylights and personal balcony, so cool. If you have time to burn the common areas are full of fun and quirky antiques and collectibles to observe. Snacks and drinks are free! Ms. Pat is super sweet, friendly, and a local expert.

Germaphobes might not like some dust, but we didn't care about that at all.

Lovely eclectic inn with really nice owner. Location is perfect! Room was cute and comfy.

Perhaps staffing issues but breakfast could have been a little more “bed and breakfasty”. Eggs were reluctantly offered, otherwise just cereal and bread. Could have more glasses and dishes in the “apartment.” There were 2 glasses and one tiny plate

Slightly quirky decorated house with 9 rooms. Quirkiness added to the charm. The location was EXCELLENT for visits to U Michigan. There was onsite parking. The security was great. Locked outside door. We were given a key. There was cold soda and coffee available all day and night.

There is nothing to not like. It is a house so all the rooms are different. Ours was huge with two king beds and still lots of space. It is somewhat difficult to turn around in the parking lot. And the hot and cold water controls in the shower were very sensitive making it challenging to get the water to the right temperature. But these are minor issues.

Staying here was a fantastic experience! A very friendly and local vibe. The owners are very kind, generous, and interesting. I was in town to interview for a phd program and wanted to stay an extra day to attend the UM bball game. They let me leave my bags there after checking out and return for them after the game. Will definitely stay again or drop by and say hello if I end up attending UM. Go BLUE!

Pat is such a lovely host and we also loved her dog! The location is ideal for accessing great food and shops in ann arbor and for accessing main campus at UMich. She allowed early check in for us which was very helpful for our early flight in. Breakfast was one of the best we have had at this sort of stay. The place was so quirky and cute - lots of fun toys and art pieces to admire. Every room is different and the more time you spend in the main area the more cool antiques you see.

Would have liked to see the establishment a bit more clean - washing top blankets and avoiding some dust. Would recommend hiring an electrician to install more outlets in the home rather than the over use of extension cords and extension plugs.
