Need new Beds, Super soft sag in the middle

As far as staff is concerned, they could not have been better! Fresh and friendly! The common areas and snacks/coffee were wonderful. Keep in mind that this is an old house that has been converted into hotel rooms. I think it would be considered a boutique hotel. However, the room I stayed in was very small. There was no place except the floor to put luggage on and the small refrigerator was also on the floor. I do have a request for all hotels: PLEASE provide soaps and lotions that do not have toxic scents to them. The ones here were extremely strong-smelling and it almost hurt my lungs to breathe them. Kudos for having refillable bottles to put them in. So to summarize, this room ended up costing me $500 a night and just basing it on the room, it was not worth it. I'm not sure if that is standard for Nantucket or not---everything there is overpriced. Many thanks to the staff, who were amazing!

The location was perfect and convenient to walk to all of the downtown area stores and attractions. The staff was friendly and our room was clean and comfy!

You could hear every door open/close and people walking around above you and in the halls outside your door. No refrigerator available in your room for medications that must stay refrigerated. Breakfast was a hit/miss of juice availability!

The greatest reason for our positive rating - and for our interest in returning - is the Innkeeper - Cara - who went far beyond the expected. The location is perfect. Housekeeping (Sharon) was excellent.

Quarters (our room, the breakfast area) are a bit tight compared to the other inns where we've stayed in Nantucket, but still perfectly adequate for our needs, especially when the weather is conducive to sitting outdoors.

My colleague and I stayed here for work and did not know what to expect when we got there. The place exceeded our expectations. Check in was easy. I had a question so I called the number provided and the person I spoke to was so kind and helpful. The rooms were beautiful, clean, and quiet. We were walking distance from some restaurants, which was very convenient. We work for a non-profit organization so we have to be aware of what we are spending, and the price for staying here was very reasonable. We are hoping to book here again when we need to stay over.

There was nothing about this place that we did not like. We had to book on short notice for work, the price was very reasonable and the rooms were comfortable, quiet, and very clean. We are already hoping to go back and stay for work again in the future.

Be prepared for steps ( 42 steps to 3rd floor rooms ) , narrow & steep. Rooms very small. Unfortunately, for us we would hesitate going back due to the high price they charge & the steps, otherwise every thing was good.

The staff or wonderful. Whatever you needed they were there. Love the premises as well. Our room was lovely too we really liked being on the first floor.

When we got there we went to 20 water Street which obviously wasn't the way we were staying but we didn't know that. It would have been nice to get a heads up ahead of time and go straight to the place where we were staying. But we were never told where that was.

We booked last minute at the Nantucket Resort Collection. The staff here was incredible - so nice and accommodating. We took advantage of their beach bags, towels and chairs. They even shuttled us back to the ferry when we were leaving which was amazing. Our room was super clean and cute. We could hear a good amount of noise from the hallway but other than that it was great.

Great location, ambience, and service from staff.

Insanely overpriced—paid nearly 1,000 PER NIGHT in June, before the start of summer. Told we had “the best” room, which it may have been, but it was nothing special. Also, the descriptions made it sound like we had our own balcony, but it was shared, and had to walk up the hall. Again, minor inconveniences, but spending nearly 1k/night, before July, warrants a much higher quality experience. I’m just glad we stayed before the place burned down 3 weeks later…

Wonderful location with lovely surrounding area. Our room was small but perfectly formed with a clean and modern shower room and comfortable bed.

We were upstairs in Chapman House and there is no elevator, with very steep staircase. Not easy to negotiate with suitcases! High prices for such a small room and simple breakfast included.
