D. Hotel Suites & Spa

This hotel is a great value. It’s very clean and they treat you like your checking in to a five star hotel. They offer a nice buffet breakfast w all the standard things and it’s all hot. The flowers on the grounds were gorgeous and we could sit in the courtyard and enjoy them at breakfast. We even saw two hummingbirds! Rooms were quiet and nice. Comfortable beds. Staff is very attentive.

We’ve stayed here a few times and this time, the room was musty. Maybe they cleaned the carpet or something but it’s was dampish in the room. Elevators seem very slow too for some reason.

Room was very clean, very spacious. Could literally smell the bleach from the cleaning crew upon entering, it was that clean. Loved having Bath & Body Works shampoo, conditioner and lotion. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Pool and hot tub were clean and very relaxing. Loved having the large TV. There were two wedding parties staying in the hotel, but we heard zero noise, which was amazing. The entry foyer is stunning. The concierge/front desk clerks were great, and always willing to assist with any questions/needs.

Being on the 5th floor, there was sometimes a backup to get on/off, and often we would stop on every floor. At one point, I opted to take the stairs. Stairwell was exceptionally hot/humid; I don't think it was air conditioned. A keycard was easily deactivated by my cell phone being too close, and had to be reprogrammed.

The room was nice, especially the bed. The interior of the hotel was clean and updated--had a very cozy feel. The hot breakfast was unexpectedly good! We totally appreciated the complimentary water, coffee and tea 24/7. I liked the water cooler, too, so that we could fill up our water bottles for near by hikes.

Everything was great. Maybe one suggestion is to have a waffle iron and machine that has pre made waffle mix for breakfast, like many hotels do. That way you can make your own fresh belgian waffle, rather than the stale, hard egos. I really liked the strawberry puree and whipped cream accompaniment.

The breakfast was superb with plenty of options, including a delicious chickpea salad! The staff was friendly and approachable, attentive to guest needs. The spa services were also on point and reasonably priced! I had a massage, and a facial, and the sauna was relaxing too. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. The jacuzzi was perfect!

It would have been nice to have some better TV/movie options in the suite. Also, the pool needed cleaning in the sense there were bandages and unknowns floating around which were a bit offputting.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. I like that there were several options of pillow firmness. We stayed in a queen suite so lots of room for our 4 day stay for all our supplies and my daughter's gear as we were in town for a college field hockey event. The location is great for day trips to museums and other activities.

This hotel feels warm and welcoming as soon as you walk in. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The owner introduced herself at breakfast and had lots of suggestions of area activities for my grandkids. The lobby has nice touches like a fireplace and chess table, the pool and hot tub were clean and well maintained, and there is a nice restaurant next door. The breakfast was better than most chain hotels. There were real scrambled eggs and kielbasa with peppers and onions. My only suggestion would be to provide some more healthy options like organic milk and yoghurt. I have stayed in many of the area hotels and this is the nicest and certainly the best for the money. This will definitely be my choice when I'm next in the area.

My only complaint would be the pillows, which were too firm for my taste, but that's personal preference.

everything about this hidden gem was amazing. the people on both shift at the desk were great. the room was immaculately clean and the sizes of the rooms were fantastic. the breakfast was very good and the hot was just what we need after dancing at the Bruno Mars concert the night before and only 15 minutes to the mass mutual center in Springfield. I will most definitely be going backo

elevator was a bit slow

Have stated at hotel before - not disappointed. Hotel is very easy to get to. Staff at check in and housekeepers are all very friendly. Room I had was very spacious and bed was very comfortable. Hot tub is perfect warm temperature and even the heated pool was heated enough that you could use.

Breakfast area is very small - very cramped. Did not do breakfast as was to packed. With Covid - the cleaning solution used to clean room is very-very strong. First room assigned, was so strong could not stay in that one. Was given another room with no hassle. Was able to stay in that room.

Staff was available for a late check-in. My kids are super early risers and were able to enjoy the breakfast spread around 6am even though it didn't start until 6:30am. Very nice staff who was able to accommodate hungry children. Lots of options even for picky eaters. Rooms were very comfortable and very clean. We slept great. There was even a cute little chess board when waiting in the lobby area.

We could not figure out the attached dining option at the hotel. Not sure if hotel owns it or if it was independently owned but we could not find up to date information on the restaurant and how to make a reservation. Sadly, we missed out on trying it. My family had just returned from abroad so we were up at the weirdest time and stores were closed. We looked for a vending machine and could not find one. Finally made it out to the front desk and waited a bit for someone to come around since it was early morning. There was a limited selection at the front desk but it probably be easier if a vending machine was available.

The hotel was immaculately clean. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was very good. The property was extremely well maintained. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. It was outstanding quality and value for money compared with other hotels in the proximity,

Uneven enforcement of mask mandate by a staff member at breakfast. My teenage children were reprimanded for not wearing their masks properly but I witnessed several adults doing the same in front of staff with no reprimand. I am all for safety and masks, but the rules need to be applied fairly and evenly. This is my only criticism - our stay was otherwise exceptional.
