Trendy hotel with friendly staff. Cozy, modernized room that's all connected by an iPad. Great location as it's right next to North Station, so it's nice to have options to get around town or take the train to other towns like Salem or Rockport. It wasn't a very busy area unless there's an event going on at TD Garden, but Hub Hall is right downstairs if you need to get something quick to eat. We liked going over to North End to get pastries and food, and it was quite walkable to get there.

citizenM rooms are on the smaller scale, which is why I said "cozy", but you got everything you need despite that. We didn't like how everything was controlled by the iPad, that if you ran into technical issues with it, it's a little hard to troubleshoot and we had to contact the front desk for help just to get our TV working.

The breakfast at the hotel was better than anything nearby - limited choices nearby. The restaurants in the food court in the same building have excellent choices at lunch and dinner. The subway is below and across the street of the hotel which was nice. The historical monuments are nearby. The shopping downtown by hopping on the subway is convenient. The star market grocery store in the same building has great selections. The view of the city from bed was spectacular. The bed is comfortable/soft.

We did not realize the room was maybe 7’ by 20’ with the bed wall to wall and against the window. I slept very well, my wife that is afraid of heights did not sleep for first two of three nights. We did not see an American flag without a rainbow flag beside it at the 4th of July including on churches and for some reason it is acceptable to put rainbow arrows on historic monuments pointing to something gay I assume. There was an excessive number of drug addicts that are doing drugs that make them angry. The fireworks were pathetic compared to anywhere else, it would be better to go anywhere else for Independence Day. The bathroom in the hotel room is more open/friendly than we would have preferred.

I had a great experience at citizenM. Great decoration and attention to detail. From the lobby to the rooms. The check in process was fully automated but there still were staff members present to help, which I appreciated. I got a room with downtown view and I was really impressed. Fantastic view! The room itself has a lot of smart integrations that you control from an iPad included in the room or from your phone. It works really well. Breakfast was excellent. Good variety of food and always timely replenished. Shout-out to the staff. Always eager to help. They even assisted me in locating a missing package that I sent to the hotel. Overall, great experience and good value for money. Recommended!

The rooms are very small. You don't have a separate bathroom. Still, the rooms are very functional so it's not a big deal.

Location was great Clean, modern, excellent common areas. Cool shower.

Too difficult to get out of bed over the other person, would prefer to have bed be exitable from both sides. Pillows too firm, but they did correct when we asked for softer ones. Made neck stiff after first night. Don’t like the lights and tv and all of that being controlled by the iPad. Not my thing and kinda a pain to try to read in bed if husband’s watching tv and can’t turn in just one light bright enough to read. Angle of tv severe for directly at end of the bed. No bar soap and no conditioner.

Great location to explore Boston and nice buzz there righy beside the Celtics. We found ourselves there last min as hotel we had booked had overbooked and refused us a room. Arrived at cirizenM late at night and had a lovely welcome from all the staff, bar staff were very friendly and everyone was helpful in getting us in and settled. Room was super comfy and was nice to be able to access a gym too. They kept our bags the following day while we did some exploring and had a great tag system so felt safe leaving our things. Overall a fantastic experience and we would check out citizenM hotels when travelling in future👍

We were in town for a concert at the TD Gardens and the hotel could not have been more convenient! The accommodations were small and compact but were very comfortable and provided everything we needed. The view from our room was a city view and it was fabulous! The staff were all very friendly and accommodating from check in to check out. The common areas were very eclectic and really inviting. We had a great visit!

Our only issue we experienced was with the A/C not cooling but that was addressed expeditiously. It was a REALLY hot week so I am sure it was just having trouble keeping up with the demand.

Boston North Station lived up to expectations after previously staying at the Amsterdam Location. Rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet. I felt very safe as a solo female traveller. Receptionist advised to get a low floor street view room instead of higher stadium view at check in. The rooms begin at floor 5 and the view was brilliant!

The cost wasn't particularly budget friendly for me, 7 nights for £2400 is more than I'd spend. BUT It seemed in line with Boston prices for that week, I was going to stay downtown without access to a car and it seemed to be a very busy week/weekend with Taylor Swift and the Boston Celtics playing. My other option was the HI Hostel for £500 for 7 nights which felt too low. The room more than made up the value. I don't actually have a reason to not like anything.

Staff was extremely accommodating and made my celebrating my father's 80th birthday the best it could be. The rooms were pleasant; our sleep very comfortable (especially after we asked for the softer/thinner pillows). With breakfast complimentary at arrival (earlier than check-in, umbrella loan, pillow accomodations, and more, the hotel went above and beyond! Thank you SO MUCH.

The shower design was impossible to keep bathroom floor dry. The floor mat was soaking wet after just the 1st shower. Since our cleaning day was on our 4th day (which we were fine with to keep eco friendly), the bathroom was a little uncomfortable. Otherwise, PERFECT in every other way. Breakfast bar was also average/okay.

The location was excellent, it's located strategically so you can go walking to most of the landmarks in the city. The hotel was very clean, the view from the room was amazing, and its facilities are very nice and elegant. They have a spectacular terrace.

The smoke detector had a flashing light that kept on during the night, so it was really disturbing while trying to sleep, we talked to the front desk receptionist about that and asked if we could deactivate that flashlight during the night but the answer was no, so we had to put up with that.

Extraordinary friendly and approachable staff. Small room but with a very smart layout, interior design and a nice view. Very quiet. The lobby/bar/living room downstairs was very comfortable and stylish. The concept is probably, that the room is for sleeping. If you want to hang out, than come down to the bar. There is no pressure to consume there. Very good located We absolutly loved our stay at this hotel. I will definitly book it again and recommend it to friends.

The matress was a bit soft. Window cannot be opened. Other than that, no complaints whatsoever.
