Holiday Inn Express Hunt Valley, an IHG Hotel

Great location. Clean room. Comfy bed. Plenty of towels. Desk staff very helpful and sweet.

The TP holder was behind the door and very hard to reach from the toilet. I had a handicapped room where the 1 and only grab bar was hidden and not placed where it was needed- seemed to be there just for name sake only. Was at the back of the tub behind the curtain- not accessible or usable due to layout of the bathroom. Housekeeping was banging on the door before 8 am. I was NOT amused with checkout being noon.

The staff!!! the clean room, and the STAFF!! honestly the staff here are always so kind ! the wifi was wonky on my floor and they offered up multiple solutions and moved me to another room. repeat customer for over 2 years.

no real complaints because the wifi issue was resolved , i have stayed here so often and will continue to as long as the staff are so wonderful! there are some cosmetic issues but the hotel is inexpensive and clean.

Great location. Breakfast is great!! The people running it did an amazing job. Hotel was packed with soccer team and they kept all of the food filled up. Don’t ever get rid of the cinnamon rolls, please!! Bathroom is tight and lighting could be better. Beds comfortable. Very friendly front desk staff.

The elevators have to be fixed!! You have to hold the button down, it stops randomly. Everyone was frustrated. It was the same when I stayed a few months before my last stay

I stay here regularly when visiting family. The location is great and place is always clean!!!! Comfy. Safe. Affordable. The staff! Seriously...my most recent stay i arrived at 10ish pm they were wayyy crowded but it didn't impact the service the overload of guests were rather loud but I could tell the staff stepped in and fixed it. The women at the front desk is honestly a joy ...so personable I should know her name by now but I don't.

The parking lot can be tedious if arriving late or it hotel is crowded.... but covered overflow parking is available!

The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was clean and comfortable.

The bathroom was difficult to get into due to the position of the door and the toilet. The breakfast, although nice, needed to be refreshed more frequently as there was nothing much left to choose from for some time until items were replaced.

I appreciate the professionalism and how the staff handled certain situations 👏. I was very happy to see that we had a microwave and a fridge in the room. Every staff member I came in contact with or walked passed had a welcoming smile. I would definitely come back.

The only downside was the parking, as you approach the rear of the building there is an annoying bumb and the spaces are tight.

Housekeeping constantly pestered the day we were scheduled to leave. Banged on the door at 8AM and even tried to unlock the door while my partner and I were asleep, then repeated at 10AM while we were getting dressed.

The "breakfast" was bare bones- cold cereal, fruit, juice, coffee - no bakery items or eggs. The location was convenient. The manager (Hassein) was very friendly and helpful . The room was clean and comfortable.

On initial check in the cards did not work and the janitor accompanied back to the room to ensure the new cards worked. The shower needed higher rim on the floor pan and the device holding the flexible shower hose was not working well and rather flimsy. Ulsing the flexible shower head was interesting because it shot all over the bathroom due to inability to lock it in place Fortunately there were lotsa towels to mop up the flood. I found it interesting that there were community bottles of shampoo, bath liquid and conditioner rather than individual bottles.

The hotel and staff were excellent from the friendly attitude of the staff to the excellent job by the cleaning staff. I felt as if I was staying in a new hotel.

The only thing that let me know this hotel was not new was the quirks in the elevator but the staff even had that covered with signs that apologized for the inconvenience and explained what needed to be done to maneuver the elevator.

Awesome location for what we were doing in the area. You couldn’t hear any traffic inside. Everything seemed nice and clean.

The air conditioning needs to be adjusted and allow the room to be colder. We woke up at one point sweating. Other guests should be reminded that not everyone is arriving drunk to their rooms at 1am slamming doors for over an hour. Some employees had masks, others didn’t, signs all over for guests to comply- pick one.
