La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham DC Metro Capital Beltway

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The drive to get into downtown was really easy. We liked the location. There was a Target down the road and lots of nearby restaurants. Every time we asked the front desk anything, they were very nice and helped us get whatever we needed. Everyone was friendly. When they did clean our room, they left us all new towels and things without being asked, which we liked.

They ran out of coffee, cream cheese, butter, spoons, and never had any orange juice while we were there. They took a while to refill things as they ran out, but did get them refilled. That would have been the only thing we wished had been better really was breakfast services. And it was hard for us to find the ice makers, because the signs were wrong. The elevator was a little slow.

I loved the first floor access and parking. The room was clean and amenities were good. The breakfast was also good. Great price. Though far from Washington downtown area, but easy fwy access.

A bit far from downtown Washington, but close to fwy. A few issues: 1. The disregard for guest on Saturday night was bad (stopped a bit after 2 am). The noise was loud. Seemed like a party was going on in the breakfast area. Hard to sleep. 2. Friendly customer smiles lacking from registration desk and the hard working but too serious breakfast attendant. 3. Left postcards for Monday mail but recipients didn't get.

This wound up being a little farther out from DC than I would have liked, though the commute to the hotel was relatively quick (about 20 minutes), but the commute back in the next morning was closer to 35-40 minutes. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They greet you with a smile and are ready to help. The room I had was larger, larger than I needed, but no complaints about that. As for the cleanliness, it was fine. The room was old looking. Stains on some of the furniture. And it was all just dated. But for one night, it was fine. Room was quiet, bed was comfortable enough. Look, this isn't a 4-star hotel, and they do not advertise that they are. For what this is, it is a fine place to crash, and a decent value for the money. The staff are a definite positive!

I really liked my stay at this hotel in the DMV. Reception staff was very professional. It was a few exits from Joint Base Andrews. Also I was able be close to family and friends in the area. The location was the best part however, I also liked the quality of room and got a good night's sleep each night. Restaurants are close by and the 7 eleven convenient store across the street. I would stay here again.

The elevator situation hopefully gets resolved but I didn't have any issues with the one elevator that worked.

Staff was nice, hotel was clean and room was comfy

The elevator buttons didn't work, and it was slow to come. As a result, lots of people use the stairs. Our room was next to the stairs and laundry, and I was scared awake a few times by the swing of the door as it was so loud I thought someone had entered our room. Elevator needs work, doors need grease on the 3rd floor. Breakfast was sorely under stocked after 8 am. I walked away with a bowl of grits because it looked like a swarm of locusts. I was glad to see a food delivery come in as we were leaving.

Loved being walking distance from restaurants, and 5 minute drive from shopping centers, grocery store. Comfortable beds, room was cleaned daily. Staff was excellent and very accommodating of anything we needed. Will definitely return.

The hotel is older, carpet needs to be replaced, along with furniture. Please note that hotel is across the street from a cannabis dispensary, and we did smell smoke one night.But that is not the hotel's fault. No issues with the neighborhood, felt safe walking to nearby restaurant.

The room was great. Beds were a little harder than I would prefer but that's really personal preference. WONDERFUL location. We opted to drive to the train station instead of taking the bus but could have done either and it was a short trip either way. Very short trip into DC which is why we came.

The free breakfast was underwhelming. Fake creamer for the coffee, limp cold bacon. I didn't try the waffles but they seemed popular so they were probably good. The room and hallway did have a somewhat strong smell. Possibly weed, not 100% sure. That came and went so it was probably neighbors smoking even though they weren't supposed to.

Staff was super friendly and helpful. Room was neat and clean, nothing I can complain about. Fast check-in/check-out. Also, coffee/tea maker and microwave/fridge in rooms are a great addition.

Location of the hotel is quite far from the city centre. Walking time to the nearest metro station is almost 20 minutes + another 30 minutes to the city centre by metro. However, a car owner would not experienxe this issue. Breakfast is quite simple, but better than nothing. Overall, I'd definitely visit this hotel again :)

I rented this room due to an issue at another hotel. The front desk staff was accommodating and ensured that I was taken care of. The security, maintenance, and other staff that I encountered were all very friendly and did everything in their power to ensure my stay was a great one. Should I return to the area again I will make this my hotel of choice due to the people and the accommodations.

The bathroom shower basin filled with water. I went to call the front desk. The receiver didn't work, but speaker feature did. I called the front desk twice. No one answered. I had to use my cell to call the front desk. In short, I did not have a good conversation with the front desk person. At checkout, I talked with the General Manager and she handled this issue better than I anticipated. The rest of the staff is REALLY friendly and they do their best to ensure you are safe and taken care of.

The front desk staff was outstanding personable friendly and great host s. The breakfast buffet was top of the line and the young man that was serving was a assisting was doing an excellent job and very attentive. The rooms was clean.

Unfortunately it's very hard to keep people from smoking marijuana next door to you and your asthmatic the other piece is the location is right across from a marijuana dispensary and next door to what appeared to be a hotel for the homeless or disadvantage. The bathroom was a little tiny but manageable.
