Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Louisville East, an IHG Hotel

Beds where comfortable, pillows too flat but lots of them to choose from. Lots of fluffy towels in the bathroom with shampoo, conditioner and soap in the shower. Breakfast was pretty good with good coffee. Location was good with places to eat and gas stations also close to interstate. Shower was hot with good water pressure. All staff members where very friendly. Nice indoor pool, great jacuzzi and gym. Very clean place. We loved it!!

Pool and Jacuzzi closed at 10. One elevator but it was fast so not a long wait. A little difficult to see the entrance at night since the off road was not well lit and lots of trees.

Firstly, thank you to sweet Michelle. We were in the process of checking in, when the phone rang. She answered the phone and was on the call, I'm assuming, longer than anticipated. She thoroughly apologized and offered my girls a treat for the inconvenience. Thank you again, so much. Great price and location. Clean rooms, nice staff, decent breakfast. We'll definitely be back if we're ever in the area again.

My only 'complaint' is about the beds. They were too firm for my liking and the pillows had very little support. But I understand can't cater to everyone.

Pool are closes at 10 and doesn’t open till 10. So if your coming in late you don’t get to use pool and who has time to use pool 1 hr before having to check out. while your getting ready to pack to leave. I think it needs some type of security guard all night I heard car alarm ms going off which resulted in my getting less sleep do to always checking to see if it was my car.

Conveniently located close to the highway. Staff was extremely friendly and welcoming! Good amenities at breakfast. Nice size room, comfortable beds and especially liked the choice of two style of pillows, firm that I like and feather that my wife likes.

Overall the bathroom was clean except there were a few hairs that were on the counter either left from the cleaning staff or the previous guest. One of the staff members had a break and smoked their cigarette right in front of the entrance. As a non smoker that had children with us I felt this was unacceptable and frankly quite disgusting.

The staff was incredible! From the time we stepped in the door to a very warm "Welcome" every single staff person we encountered was so warm, welcoming and helpful. They were so friendly! You could tell that they are proud of the property and enjoy their jobs.

I have no complaints. Everything was just right.

Selina at the front desk at check in was very helpful and so friendly. They offered a very good breakfast. The lady running the breakfast area was super nice. She even special made my daughter turkey sausage! The inside pool and hot tub was really why we picked this hotel, everything else was a bonus!

I like the location and it’s conveniences to town but far enough away to be relaxing. The breakfast was excellent!

No curtains on the windows. There was a darkening blind, but it allowed a huge amount of light in down each side and at the bottom that a curtain could have helped block.

Check in was easy, Angela was very nice and efficient. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. The hot breakfast was good and not like most places that give you a paper bag with some cold items in it. The only station that was closed was the pancake maker but there were pre-made pancakes that could be warmed in the microwave.

We were only there one night and didn’t find anything we didn’t like.

I was pleasantly surprised to find shampoo and conditioner dispensers hanging in the shower. provided coffee was so convenient.

hard night sleep due to the bed being uncomfortable. it was extremely hard. also, the lighting is shadowy and poor. No overhead lighting and I think the lamps were fluorescent. or at least that's how it appeared.
