Holiday Inn Express & Suites Sioux City-South, an IHG Hotel

The room was very spacious and was very comfortable. The microwave and refrigerator were adequate for our needs. The staff was great in accommodating our late arrival.

The location was hard to find in the dark...thanks Google Maps! We asked for a room near the elevator. Don't know what happened to that request. We got one at the end of the hall...quite a jaunt for the person in our party with mobility issues. The sofa was in need of replacement and was not comfortable to sit on, but the beds were very comfortable! Very hard water compared to what we are used to on this trip.

Wonderful accommodations and the staff was above all others. We called when lost in the city and Suzy was wonderful getting us to the holiday inn. Once we arrived she was helpful in getting us our membership to Holiday Inns. My husband and I are traveling across the United States and this was so helpful. Thank you again!

Delicious breakfast with many hot and cold choices. Extremely friendly front desk staff and kitchen staff. I arrived around midnight, and Joe exceeded my expectations by finding a discount, arranging for late checkout, explaining snack choices, offering local tourist info, and giving directions to a place to get my taillight repaired the next day. He did it all with a smile, and he appeared to genuinely care about customers. I felt like I had chosen the right hotel! The room was perfectly clean and comfortable. I will definitely return in the future.

The hotel could be hard to find, but luckily I had no problems. Lots of highway construction nearby on the road that loops around the east side of town, with orange cones, and I was nervous about night driving. The highway was dark, with some confusing exits.

Good cheese omelet and choice of pork or turkey sausage. Plus pancakes! Room was very clean and comfortable bed.

We were anxious to use the hot tub but there was a large noisy party that made no effort to share. Perhaps post a sign that time should be limited when other guests are waiting!

The king bed was comfortable, pillow selection was good. We did not pull out the hide-a-bed, just slept on the couch, which was comfortable enough. They had all the bedding nicely packed in a bag in the closet. The room was clean. Breakfast was good, a nice variety of food and felt good to have hot breakfast rather then the 'grab and go' options we have experienced in the past due to covid.

Finally a hot breakfast, it was a great spread and delicious. the pool area was clean and well kept. the lobby and pantry area were also very clean and stocked with plenty of options. Brenda had a warm smile and treated us like we were distant relatives. Chris had a friendly smile and welcoming conversation. The rooms were impeccable. This hotel is exceptional in every way.

I have nothing but good things to say, the facility and Staff were terrific.

I requested first floor, but it wasn't available. They only have one roll-a-way bed and it was taken. Trash receptacles outside were full so we had to leave our trash in the room.

love the location. remodeled areas are very nice very good breakfast comfortable beds

pool was closed during remodel - maybe should be a discounted price during our stay. Breakfast area was congested during the remodel.

Everything was great

The driveway was a problem with the gas station other drivers weren’t understanding that the hotel had a driveway. I was a little disappointed that the hot tub wasn’t there.

Our room was a suite, and GIGANTIC! Our three small children were able to run around the room and let their energy out. Very clean. The beds were so comfortable and smelled great! The staff went above and beyond to help make our stay the best it could be. We would definitely stay here again.

My only issue was that the hot tub was more like a warm tub. The water was about as warm as I would give my kids a bath in. Comfortable yes, but I wish it were a tad warmer.
