Hampton Inn & Suites Fort Wayne-North

Immediately upon check-in I was extremely surprised, and pleased, with this hotel! It is just beautiful and very thoughtfully laid out from the lobby to the room. Our family stayed in two adjoining rooms and both were just wonderful, especially the Queen suite. In fact, they really exceeded our expectations!! The suite had a great kitchen area w/table, sm. refrigerator, microwave, etc. It also had a nice sitting area and both rooms had a terrific idea - square ottomans on rollers that acted as additional seating or were also very useful to put luggage on. The nightstand in between the beds has a pull-out tray that is an exceptional idea - great for snacks, games, laptop, etc. And the service of the hotel manager went above and beyond - we had to leave early the next morning for a day trip on a tour bus and she really went out of her way to have breakfast ready a little early for us. This made all the difference between being able to have a breakfast or not, especially important for my elderly, diabetic father. Thank you for exceeding our expectations - and I have traveled quite a bit internationally to Europe, etc. so that speaks volumes!

$10 parking fee!

Breakfast was ok, there was a good selection. The bed was great, loved the pillows. Staff was friendly and even asked us how the concert was when we returned. The pool was enjoyable, a little cool but not cold.

The eggs had COLD spots. the electric socket in the bathroom was coming out of the wall. That's really it. Overall it was a nice stay.

Beds were comfortable.

Front desk lady wasn't friendly. Wouldn't let us check in before 3pm. Wouldn't give us 3 keys. Computer didn"t work to print boarding passes. Elevator certification was expired by over 1 month. Hallway by elevator smelled awful. Carpet in lobby and halls looked dirty.

Location is great, very close to family, favorite restaurants, "Walmart" type grocery plus everything else full service store. This Hampton did serve a full buffet style breakfast as well as togo bags unlike the Hampton in Janesville, WI.

Cable was weak so msnbc station did not come in, our favorite. As usual there were no towel bars in the bathroom. There were 3 hooks that served to hang both our toiletries bags and a towel in between. I swear I don't know why hotels have beds for 4 adults and NO towel bars. What do they expect their guests to do, put them on hangers in the closet!!!

The lady at the front desk was quick, friendly, and informative. We got the queen suite. The rooms were so clean and big. Loves the kitchen and eating area. Nice and quiet but not deserted. The pool was great! Big plenty of towels. Location was perfect! Out of traffic but near everything! It was so welcoming! We didn't make it to breakfast because the kids stayed up way to late, but the set up I saw had a great variety.

Nothing! Best hotel I have stayed in, in years. Definitely going to stay there again!

The staff was exceptionally friendly, I really appreciated that. We had no issues and everything was great. The Bed and pillows were so comfy and our room was really clean. I would stay here again.

If I had to critique anything it would be the hallway to the room. They felt & looked dirty and could definitely use new carpeting, not a small task.

Location - walkable to Cracker Barrel. We received an upgrade upon arrival. Awesome suite with sofa, chair, desk, and kitchenette. It was a hot breakfast were you served yourself and they provided protective gloves to put on, although not everybody used them before serving themselves from the common utensils in the eggs and such.

Parking lot asphalt condition is haggard looking. Sidewalk areas and exterior plants could be much improved to give the hotel more appeal when you drive in.

The rooms were roomy, clean, neat. Bed was comfortable. Nice amenities. Coffee pot, desk, extra seating, charging station setup by beds. The complimentary breakfast was great! Especially the potatoes. Loved the indoor pool. Parking was very convenient. Staff was very professional and courteous. Checking in was a breeze. No hassles. The location was really convenient. Everything was close by. Food, shopping, etc. Did not have to drive far and right off the highway.

The bed was so comfy that we still talk about it. The room was a lot nicer than we expected. Loved the tea available for guests. Nice that the pool was open. Cant beat the price either.

No one spoke to us about the free breakfast even though we mentioned it. We both have celiac so maybe they didn’t offer it for that. The pool felt like it could have been a little nicer. You could hear the road if you turned off the air or heat. Weirdest thing was we found a mask and hat in our room that wasn’t there when we got there. That made us uncomfortable as we were leaving and glad we only stayed for two nights.

The beds were very comfortable. The hotel was really clean. And the two ladies who did wait on us. The one at check in and the gal who was running the front desk between 5-7ish? were super friendly and very helpful.

The location being right by the highway did make it a quite loud. Also the people staying above us were stomping around throughout the entire night. Also, the lady who did our check out was rude. The noise I understand is not due to the hotel itself.
