Sonesta Simply Suites Chicago O'Hare Airport

The African-American half of the staff was very nice, professional and polite. Thank you Eric, Imani (you g lady with lovely locs) and the older African-American lady who was training Eric. The property was extremely clean. Passed the white glove test with flying colors! I felt safe. It was quite and very spacious. My family and I were more than comfortable in the one bedroom option. Big fridge and freezer, pots and pans, dishwasher, sink, cups, plates and silverware! They even had dishwashing liquid and pods!

The Indian half of the staff was very how do I say…rude. Muhammad was very annoyed with me needing another card because mine was not working. I continued to be polite as I never like to treat anyone bad even when they treat me that way. But I truly felt as if I wasn’t wanted when I was requesting assistance from them. Also the complete opposite of Eric and Imani.

The hotel is a bit old, but the size of the room is large, and the bed was comfortable. When the printer was not working at the business centre the staff at the reception was nice enough to print what I needed. checking in and out was quick, free coffee at the reception area and most of all the hotel was pet friendly which I why I booked in the first place. They even have a dog path and relief area for your furry family.

the building is old and could do a renovation but not really a big deal as it's clean and got everything you might need.

The hotel is very close to Ohare airport, with a free shuttle, which was perfect. The room and bed were extremely large/comfortable and there were a few stores within walkging distance. Staff was also friendly, welcoming and helpful. It was really nice having a small kitchenett with fridge, stovetop, microwave, coffee maker & dishes available.

I found this hotel perfect for my needs.

Room was good n equipped with all basic requirements.

The check out procedure. Not allowing half hr or one hr complimentary check out if anyone needs. For me like check out time was 11.00 am and staff came n knock the door at 10:55 am and asking about check out. I never saw this kind of behaviour in any of the other hotel.

Comfortable suite with good internet for work. Frequent free shuttle busses to the airport to get trains into the city. Helpful staff on the front desk. Free washing/drying facilities were much appreciated, and there was even a BBQ laid on one lunchtime.

Only 2 lifts for 150 rooms! I stayed from Sunday to Sunday which meant I didn’t get my room serviced at all during my stay, which was a shame. The shop was useful for essentials, but quite expensive.

When we first checked in we asked how to get a shuttle to the airport in the morning and they explained. It was a very easy process. Also the price of parking for the week was very affordable. Worth the price.

When leaving the airport, they didn't explain how to get a shuttle back from the airport to the hotel to get our car but once I called they explained it all. It went very smooth and it was very quick once they arrived at the airport.

Excellent location with a friendly staff. Clean and well-managed. Room rate OK. Convenient to ORD. They provided excellent transport.

Suggest anyone staying there bring a few snacks as the prices charged onsite are beyond exorbitant -- borderline laughable. They provide a large fridge, stove, and microwave. And there is no convenient food nearby.

The location is great for the airport with a shuttle to take you there. It's a basic hotel but the room was huge and the staff very friendly.

If you want to grab dinner you'll need a car. There's nothing much within walking distance.

The room was spacious, the kitchen area was amazing and the bed was super comfortable. Taking the shuttle was easy from the airport and I appreciated the return shuttle to the airport which was on call and not subject to a set schedule, so I could adapt my departure time.

The lighting was inadequate. The floor lamp was not working (however, I was still able to get some reading done). There should be a desk lamp.

Convenient to the airport and major expressways. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet.

Had to pay for overnight parking.
