We stayed for four nights. First morning we were rudely woken up by pipeline workers who were staying at the Inn. They used the area right outside our room as their meet-up location before work and stayed there for over an hour and a half. Very loud, and this started at 7 am, finally left at 8:50 am. The staff at the Inn immediately switched rooms for us. The second room was having problems with the tv, couldn’t get it to work. The staff tried and tried fixing the service to the tv but never could. Lori called our room after trying for over 30 mins to fix it and said she had another room for us and the tv worked so we switched to yet a third room. It wasn’t our first choice, all the switching of rooms but the staff bent over backwards to make sure we had a great stay there. The rooms were very nice, clean and large. I do recommend upgrading to a room that has a fridge & microwave. The lower priced rooms do not and that’s the room we first stayed in. The second and third room we had were both facing the river and that was an amazing view … so happy we upgraded. Here is a big piece of info for those using Booking.Com. The Inn wanted to knock off some of the price since we had to move so many times but couldn’t because we had booked thru Booking.Com. They were unable to change our rates we had contracted with Booking.Com. I will definitely stay at the Stagecoach Inn again but will deal with the Inn directly. We absolutely loved the Inn and the Staff!

We have no complaints about Stagecoach Inn or their Staff. If it weren’t for the rude pipeline workers that had no respect for other guests (and there were at least 10 loud men using the parking lot as their personal space, smoking, drinking coffee, letting their big trucks idle for over 90 mins, talking quite loudly), we would’ve never moved from our first room.

Room was clean and comfortable I think has been updated some since last time we stayed. River view is always nice.

There was mildew along the edge of tub probably in the calking. Id suggest scraping out old calk treat and recalk the edge. The rest of the tub shower was nice and clean. I have a very detailed cleaning business so I notice those things. More parking for motorcycles and handicap parking on the far parking area. I was on a trike disabled plate. There was no parking near that rear door it was a struggle carrying stuff that far and also up the stairs.

When I walked in the front entrance I was immediately greeted by the two front desk gals. Asked my name, and quickly handed me my room card and a doggie treat bag, (as I traveled with my dog). Quickest check in I have ever experienced. They new I was coming and had everything prepared and had top notch service. Added feature, the short walk across the street to the off leash dog area and trails along the river was a plus if your traveling with your pals. Perfect location!!! Highly recommend this place.

I have no concerns or complaints.

The staff was exceptionally kind, particularly the young lady working the front desk and the woman running breakfast. The food was delicious, the rooms are spacious and clean, the 2nd floor rooms have balconies, it’s within walking distance to downtown.

it is an older building and the doors don’t block out noise in the hallway very well. Requesting a room with a river view is $20+ more and in my opinion not worth it. The bathrooms are very small. I wish the hot tub was open year round.

There was confusion over our booking. Booking.com had not cancelled our first night as requested and a double payment had been taken from my bank account. Erin on reception sorted it all out for us authorising a refund and finding the room we had requested with a riverside view.

Better communication between Booking.com and the hotel reservation system would have avoided the stressful checking in situation.

Convenient hotel in a lovely town right close to the river. Salmon is a great location for getting to the Lemhi pass and following the history of Lewis and Clark. Lovely walks, interesting museum, beautiful views. The room was spacious and the nearby restaurant (Shady Nook) was very good.

Breakfast was quite limited, fresh fruit and nicer bread would have made a big difference.

This property has the perfect location to shops, playing in the river and just a relaxing time at the back of the property to enjoy sitting along the river!!!!

Only thing is property has missing was a mini fridge in the room, for us traveling on a road trip we had food with us so it was a bit of a bummer to have to keep running for ice to keep our items cold.

The bed was very comfortable! As we came on motorcycle it was great to have a bottom floor where we could park right in front of our room! The breakfast was great!

We missed not having a microwave and fridge. We were told it was because we got a discounted price.... as we booked through booking.com. This was a first! And it has been the most expensive stay.

No grandkids this year, but we’ve enjoyed the pool. The free breakfast is good, and in a nice room. Roomy parking, pleasant staff, comfortable and secure rooms.

It’s not this property I don’t like, it’s the piling on of 3 different Idaho state and local taxes that probably stress the business as much as budget-minded travelers.

It was clean and easy to get to, and in a lovely little town.

No good food options nearby, but the hotel offers some things to heat up. Also, the beds were terrible! We felt like we falling into each other in the middle of the bed constantly. It’s a good thing we like each other! Ha!
