Ka'anapali Beach Club

Pool and hot tub were excellent with lots of chairs available. Room was really nice, and we loved having the kitchenette, which was very well stocked with every dish, tool, and appliance we needed. We were also very happy with temperature control in our rooms and really liked the ceiling fans to keep air circulating. We loved watching the whales "play" in the ocean, from the pool area. Great location and close proximity to restaurants, shopping and Lahaina.

Would have loved to have an onsite full-service restaurant. Experience with concierge varied as the 1st person we talked to was friendly and helpful, but the 2nd person barely had the time of day to help us make a luau reservation after we turned down the timeshare presentation offer. I also wish they had been able to make recommendation besides the ones that were tied to the standard "offers or coupons". There were a lot of great restaurants nearby that we found doing our own research.

The Kaanapali Beach Club is a beautiful property in a great location. We were able to be placed in 2 rooms on the same 11th floor. The suites are spacious, the kitchens easy to use with many supplies available, and the beds very comfortable. The suites were all very clean - we did not have cleaning services during our stay, but they provided changes of towels or any supplies we needed. The pool and spa area were only crowded in the middle of the day, and the restaurant had easy access to lots of tables to watch the sunset or look out over the pool. All in all a well maintained property and easy access to sightseeing and snorkeling. We've stayed here many times before - and have always enjoyed our stay!

When we arrived, we were notified Maui County was having a water problem - and there was not water in the upper floors of the resort. We wish the staff had been more proactive in offering solutions. They finally gave us water bottles and let us shower in another room after our long day of traveling - but only after we insisted. I only wish they had offered that on their own - something we hope they will do in the future!

The daily calls from the time share sales/concierge. We booked/paid for a hotel vacation NOT a time share for a reason. When you pay the regular rate it would be nice for that to be respected.

Don't let the pink paint fool you, this is the best bang for your buck on Maui, big resort vibe for half the price! Amazing cool, amazing beach, fun amenities for a quarter of the price. Rooms were so much better than I expected or the price, honestly feels like a legit one bedroom apartment. Best choice I made while visiting the Hawaiian islands!

I wrote a long positive response for my first 3 nights Oct 19th to 22nd. I am happy I added 3 additional nights to the same resort. Additional positive comments: for families on a budget or individuals who like to cook, the local grocery store is across the street. Wide range of standard food items & alcohol beverages for sale. The hotel resort allows both options for guests to enjoy the hotel resort bars & restaurants or allow guests to bring their own food & alcohol into their hotel suite where a refrigerator & kitchen appliances are provided. As well for the outdoor nature tourists, the hotel has a very clean bbq area on the beach. The bbq area has 3 or 4 newer clean bbqs with 2 large tables for guests use. I’m not much of a bbq beach person but I was even quite impressed the hotel resort provided this option for guests who chose to grill their fish of the day or meat selections etc. Several days I observed couples & families bbq beach front with beautiful sun setting behind the islands of Lanai & Molokai. Some guests sat beach side at bbq tables to enjoy their meal with a nice bottles of wine and chilled bottle beverages. Other guests took their bbq plates & beverages back to the pool lounge chairs & tables. Either way the guests enjoy the option of bbq beachside or pool side with beautiful sunset views. By the way, the snorkeling at the private beach was actually ok. In fact I snorkeled 3 of my 6 days at the resort. I experienced tye resort beach and coral reefs host an array of beautiful vibrant fish including many yellow tang & Hawaai’s state fish. Twice during my visit to Maui I swam with wild giant green sea turtles in Ka’anapali. My second encounter swim with the giant green sea turtle was on the private beach of the Ka’anapali Beach Club a Diamond Resort. I swam with the giant green turtle for approx 500 meters! Beautiful experience!

Lady Anne recognized that my wife and I were celebrating our 47 Wedding Anniversary and elevated our room to a two bedroom suite, which was excellent. Room 325. When we come back to celebrate our 50th.

Controlling kids running around the pool with glass. As it turns out the family ended up causing a scene at the Conceirge desk. The family was very rude to the staff.

Suite was well appointed, very clean and loved the views. Liked we were able to walk to the beach directly from the resort. Conveniently located. Pool was ideal. The staff went out of their way for us.

We did enjoy the mini-restaurant on site that offered food you could order and pick up and eat either in your room, pool side or in the bar area. Really wish there was a full sit-down restaurant on premises.

I am very impressed with the incredible value of the price I paid for 6 nights at Ka’anapali Beach Club a Diamond Resort. Granted I did my research to get the best rate. I traveled alone as my first visit to Hawaii. I am very impressed with the large condo style suite. Both master bedrooms & master baths were more than I expected. The convenience of the modern granite kitchen equipped with all accessories. The new stylish dining area , modern living room with flat screen TV & fold out couch. I traveled alone but a couple or small family on budget would have been very pleased! I selected the hotel resort because of the location, private beach with largest beautiful lagun pool in area. The surprise was the gorgeous 24/7 views of Lanai & Molokai from the pools, pool bar & restaurants & half of the hotel suites! The location was ideal. I walked to many beautiful beach areas near by. My individual excursions to scuba, snorkel & sail were all within 10 minutes to 30 minutes of the hotel. The location, pleasant staff, & price of quality of suites are solid reasons the Ka’anapali Beach Club a Diamond Resort was the best value & excellent experience. As well real real perk that WiFi & parking are free & resort fees are not exorbitant.

The pool area felt like a 5 star resort- unlimited towel exchange. We were so close to everything we needed or wanted to explore, except for Hana for which we took a tour 😊 such a lovely place. We lucked out with a peaceful quiet room and a gorgeous Mountain View. The room and bathroom are huge! Super comfortable for Two adults and a kid. free laundry and kitchenette is a bonus!

The stair access outside is fine, but you can’t get back in- and too many workers using the elevators. They need a staff elevator as there are only 4 person max for Covid and paying guests had to wait to load a free elevator.

We enjoyed the nostalgia of your place, it felt like we were staying at an island resort. The pool was fine and attention seemed to be given to the cleanliness of outside area.

The rooms had great size and some nice features, however popcorn ceilings need to go, the beds could use an update as well.
