Travelodge by Wyndham Savannah Area/Richmond Hill

We were booked for another hotel (Dogwood Inn), but they locked their doors at 10:50pm and wouldn't let us check in. We drove across the street to this one and the lady was very nice and got us a room quickly. There were a lot of people booked in, but it was quiet inside the room. The beds were comfortable and they had waffle makers in the lobby for breakfast.

The room was a little sketchy. Cigarette burns in the covers in a non-smoking room. Sticky stuff on the tile floor. Top safety lock was broken. Boogers on the bathroom wall and candy wrappers stuffed in the base molding. All of it was something that could easily be fixed with a little maintenance and a good cleaning so we were just happy to find a semi-decent place to crash for the night. P. S. It says online the camera-looking thing taped to the front of the TV is a remote sensor, but the TV works fine without it. Just keep it covered with something while you're there, just in case.

this location was indeed lovely , close by restaurants, the staff were nice and welcoming , the rooms were clean and smelled nice , housekeepers were amazing , everything I look for in a stay I found it here

I had previously booked a different hotel (Econolodge Savanah South) and when I got there it was absolutely ATROCIOUS. I cannot review that hotel because I canceled my stay but let me say this DON'T book at the econo lodge!!! BOOK AT THE TRAVEL LODGE IN RICHMOND HILL!!! Its clean and safe and closer to Savanah for 10 bucks extra per night, it's well worth it! When I got to the travel lodge I told the owner about my previous experience and he assured me that the rooms at his hotel were most definitely clean comfortable and safe. And he was right! The rooms were CLEAN. The linens were CLEAN. The floors walls and bathroom were CLEAN! I always bring my own pillows and comforter because I always get cold at other hotels but we had no need for the extra comforter and I forgot my pillows this time and the pillows were nice and fluffy and smelled just slightly of bleach. That says a lot to me. I am not one to get an expensive hotel when all I'm going to do is sleep and shower there because the rest of the time we are sightseeing. And the Travel Lodge at Richmond Hill fits the bill. A good affordable hotel that is clean, quiet, safe, affordable and accommodating! The staff is AMAZING. They were super friendly and funny as well! The MINOR things that I didn't like were just that. MINOR. It would have been nice to have free breakfast in the am but they have the breakfast area closed due to Covid-19. The pool was open and clean! I cannot stress enough that this place is CLEAN!!

There is no coffee pot in the room, there wasn't a "do not disturb" sign to hang on the door handle and the "double" rooms are full size beds not "queen" HOWEVER they were super comfy. I slept well on the bed and I have had 4 back surgeries if that tells you anything. Its HARD to complain about my stay because what I'm complaining about is really just nit picking.

Staff was very helpful and courteous. Located within driving distance of Savannah, Tybee Island and Jeckell Island. Overall was a very enjoyable stay.

. Lack of shaded area around the pool, one end could benefit from aluminum carport type cover for grandparents to watch grandchildren swim and not get burned

I read the reviews prior to my arrival and I had some concerns. Upon my arrival I was pleasantly surprised. The room was spotless. I stayed for yhreee nights and my room was cleaned each day with no issues. The pool was nice and quiet. It made for it a comfortable getaway. Front desk and staff were extremely friendly, warm hospitality.

The management was so friendly and helpful. I had to find a reasonable place to stay between moving out of a rental and my new place being ready, with my pug! And my grandchild! Everybody was so kind! Very reasonable! And the room was exceptional! I had a room full of things for my move and was graced a late check out on moving day!! I appreciated the management and housekeeping so much!

Clean and comfortable beds. Bathroom spacious. Air conditioning work very well. Mini fridge. Plenty of restaurants including breakfast nearby.

We like the pool, but it was very murky and not particularly clean feeling.

The whole check in process was great! Room was clean! Sheets pillows and blankets was ckean and fresh! The bed was super comfortable! Breakfast was great nice and hot I will definitely stay nagain

Nothing was great stay for! I have nothing tomcomplain about this business!

The bed was comfy, and the room (pretty) clean. There was NO breakfast that I could see, I think I would have gotten some. I like the location, there are plenty of places to eat, and buy gas nearby.

I really have no complaints, except for the breakfast part.

The rooms were very clean staff was nice

If you're going to have breakfast there go early they tend to want to close it early. They did however open everything back up when I came down a little bit before I was supposed to be closed anyway
