SpringHill Suites by Marriott Atlanta Downtown

The room was very nice and clean, the hotel was clean as well. The location is especially convenient as far as location if you’re in town for an event in downtown Atlanta.

I don’t like that they force you to pay for valet parking. It’s 24 hours but due to the fact I was there for an event I had to wait 10-15 minutes for my car to be brought to me which was an annoyance considering they MAKE you pay for it. I expect the service to be speedy. Also there is a club right across from them, they didn’t shut down until 3am…they were loud and could be hear clear as day even from the 9th floor. So if you have small children or a baby I wouldn’t choose this because it’s not necessarily the quietest at night.

The room was cozy and clean. The bed was comfy and large! We also had a great view and I appreciated the amenities of the room i.e. Keurig, microwave, refrigerator. Glad there was parking in the building and monitored.

I waited way too long (atleast an hour) for clean towels which will now make me ask for my extra stuff right then at check in, and our room WAS NOT serviced at all while we were there. The front desk clerk was a little dry, not much pep in her attitude but was still nice. Just not the attitude I'm used to or expect at the front desk. The breakfast was not what I expected. I don't want bagels and cereal....I prefer hot foods like eggs, turkey sausage and a waffle maker would be good. Last, I get that the hotel is in the city so its all about location and convenience but $20 a night just seems like a bit much for parking but also it needs to be stated when the reservations are being made about the parking and its charge. Its just nice to have a heads up.

I loved the location. It was close to everything that I needed for the trip. It was also within walking distance of several places that I wanted to visit outside of the main reason for the trip.

Unfortunately I didn't like that the valet parking was so expensive. It was cheaper that other hotels in the area though.

The bed was comfortable, the staff at the entrance were very pleasant and welcoming, and the rooms were exactly as pictured.

On the first night, we couldn't get into the hotel from the front entrance without a room key. I get that it's for safety measures, but that was a little annoying. When we were leaving, my girlfriend and I had to stumble over rocks, in our heels, while carrying our luggage so that we could get to the street to get into our Uber. Some steps or a ramp would've been nice.

The room was very comfortable was exactly as the photo on booking.com , it really lived up to my expectation. The only thing was the room wasn’t ready when we got there but they comped us with a better rate. The staff was knowledgeable and very professional. I will definitely recommend this hotel join the one who is visiting Atlanta. It was very central you could walk around.

The staff was super nice. The room was very clean.

The downside for me was no microwave in the room (there was one in the lobby for all to share). I was there for a conference in February; the room the conference was in was really cold. They had the air on and the vendors were freezing. I asked numerous times for them to turn the air off. They'd turn it off and a couple of hours later it would be back on.

Beautiful hotel, the room was very nice. But I must give many kudos to Ruby at the front desk and the valet employees. Ruby called to check that all was good with my room about 20 minutes after I settled in. She also spoke to me and called me by my name every time I was in the lobby area where she was at the desk. Such a sweet lady! The valet workers were so efficient, accommodating and friendly as well. The breakfast had so may choices and all was great! I had a beautiful view of the city scape of Atlanta, thanks to Ruby! It was so convenient being close to Atlantic Station, Ikea and Target, and restaurants. I will certainly be using this hotel again while visiting friends and family in Atlanta!

All was great!

I really liked how close we were to The World of Coca Cola, The Georgia Aquarium, etc. We literally could walk across the street to everything. The staff was friendly.

Valet parking could use some work. Breakfast could be better.

The property was close to a lot of surrounding restaurants.

The property is in a great location I just did not like the fact that we had to pay to park where we were sleeping. The rooms are already expensive and you have to park everywhere else you go. The only other bad thing is I had to clean the shower head in my room before showering it was filthy.

STAFF, they were all so friendly and accomodating, almost like staying with family. Ladies in charge of breakfast area showed exceptional poise and patience when rude guests swarmed like locusts and left the area a total mess. The ladies didn't complain, simply cleaned up the mess with a smile.

Room not very clean. Coffeemaker had used pod in it, sweetener packets left on dresser. Very poor water pressure, almost no water in shower this morning. Left it on and pressure finally increased enough for us to shower.
