La Quinta by Wyndham Atlanta Midtown - Buckhead

Nice, clean and modern rooms. Good price & good location for a short drive to downtown ATL.

The wifi is terrible, the staff aren’t particularly friendly. They also shouldn’t be wearing AirPods in customer facing roles - particularly at reception, it gives a bad impression.

The room was very neat and clean. The bathroom was very clean. I liked that they offered the body wash, shampoo and conditioner affixed to the wall. I also liked when you first walked into the main area. There was a very refreshing smell the temperature throughout it’s nice and cool. We forgot our toothpaste and the representative at the front desk was very helpful and giving us a large free tube. There was only one staff person working in the night. She was very busy, but always remained pleasant. This hotel is just outside of the downtown area. If you’re looking for a place to sleep and not looking for a hotel with all the bells and whistles, this would definitely be a great place.

I did not like the sound of the air conditioner. We had the setting at about 72 initially and that air conditioner would pop on every 3 to 4 minutes and would make a very loud noise. Once we set it at 75 it prolonged the time that it would come on, but still made a loud noise And it also felt very warm at that point so we had to deal with 72 and it popping on very often. There was also a slight odor when you first opened the door in the room it may have been mildew, but there was no evidence of mildew in the room .

The room is spacious, comfortable and clean. Good value for money. Next to a highway, so access is quick (and view from the window is ugly).

The room was not cleaned during our 3-day stay, despite the fact that we asked the person at the reception. The staff seemed a bit unfriendly, both the reception staff and the lady who works serving the breakfast area. She may have been overworked by the number of people eating breakfast there, but that is no excuse to be unfriendly. Breakfast is very boring, always exactly the same. Please surprise us with something different every day, even if it's just one thing. Just one.

I like the way that the property was kept up I had a wonderful time it was outstanding and hopefully I'll be coming back soon I really want to thank la Quinta for making me feel welcome thank you.

I had called the front desk and explain to them that my husband had problems with hearing the TV I tried turning the TV up with the remote but the remote did not turn up the volume on the TV and the young lady stated that they would send someone but they never did that is the only little thing that I did not like about the status of the situation so the next time any guess ask can you assist them with any problem and you tell them that you would send someone make sure that you stick to your word if you cannot send someone or if no one is on duty at that time then just say I'm sorry about the inconvenient man maybe we can move you to another room or we will try to find a way to accommodate you.

I liked about my stay was the professionalism and courtesy of the hotel staff. Similarly, another complement I have for the hotel staff at this site: every staff member was effortlessly efficient; it was nice to have nearly all of my questions answered by the tactfully concise insert which was attached to the holding-sleeve of my room keys. I also liked that towels and linens were readily available every time I needed them.

I didn't like the restrictive scheduled timing of the daily complementary breakfast. For me, the service times started too early and ended too soon.

The hotel was great for what we needed it, a short pass through Atlanta during a road trip. The staff were very polite and efficient. The free parking was highly appreciated. We didn't need to go into the city, so the location was great to avoid the traffic. The room was great, spacious with all the necessary amenities (coffee machine, fridge). The price was great for the comfortable and clean premises.

Can't think of anything wrong, except that it's not in the center of the city, if this is a requirement for anyone's trip.

Bed uncomfortable as it was to soft. Needs some painting. I wanted to pay with a different card at checkout. I informed the person at the desk of this at check in. When I went to check out the next morning, the gentleman at the counter said I was already checked out and billed. He should not have billed me. He offered to refund but that was another inconvenience for me so I declined. I assumed he did it that way to get it over with and benefit him saving him time. That’s bad service. I won’t stay there again.

My stay at this La Quinta was exceptional. I was impressed by the cleanliness, staff & facilities and for that reason, I will be booking again for my next trip in October. I would also recommend this location to a friend/family.

The one major thing I would have loved to have was on-site pool. Also... I understand that people travel with animal but I would perhaps label room pet rooms like you guys do accessible rooms or maybe stay on the first floor to avoid using the elevator with those who may be allergic. *But I did liked the signage that was posted about keeping pets out of the eating areas.

This hotel was choosen for the convenient positin related to my business during the stay. All was in irder, the room are quite spacy and the shower was good,a good desk where to work. The breakfast was quite complete and in line with other hotels, all self service. Conveniente ans always available parkiing free of charge. Staff has been really nice and always available.

Actaully this hotel is having nothing really insufficient, all was in line with the fares and above. The Breakfast could have been with little more options in terms of food choises, BUT it is my personal feeling,

Sheri at the front desk was extremely helpful! There was an issue in which my reservation got cancelled the day of our arrival and upon speaking to Sheri on the phone, she made sure that a room was saved for us. Upon arrival she got a manager to make adjustments to their system to make sure we got a room, at our price level, even though it required some finagling. Throughout the rest of our stay, the staff remained pleasant and helpful.

If I have any complaints, it's that the breakfast could use some improvement! The quality of some of the items left something to be desired, and on weekday mornings it was very limited.
