Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott Saint Augustine I-95

The room was clean, and the majority of staff was great. The room attendant was awesome along with all the reception desk but one person. I'd stay again if that person wasn't working. I didn't get a chance to use the pool or jacuzzi due to the rain but if I come back I'm sure I would.

There was one older gentleman with white hair and a moustache who was horrible to my 77 yr old mother. He was arguing with her and told her she was a liar. My mom called me and I came directly down to fix the situation. He changed his attitude as soon as he saw me. I refuse for anyone to be rude or totally disrespect my mother. It takes a lot for her to get upset, so he must've pushed every button possible. Also there were about big ten ants walking around. There were two or three in the bed but it looked as if they might be dying.

I liked the complimentary hot breakfast buffet every single morning. Everything was hot and there was a good amount of selections to choose from. Thank you Fairfield Inn & Suites for providing guests with a great experience! I also enjoyed my bed. Very comfortable and slept perfectly all 4 nights.

My room key malfunctioned on me 3 times. It would not unlock the door to my room. Had to go down to the front desk and have the front desk clerk reset it for me. I prefer regular keys over key cards.

Hotel is conveniently located right off of I-95 in St Augustine. However, note that historical downtown St. Augustine is about 9.5 miles from the interstate. Plenty of parking and quiet in the evening. The King suite (larger room) has a separate living area with sofa, desk, and extra TV. The bedroom area contains another TV and closet. Hot breakfast in the morning was very good with many choices.

LaBreakfast was really good. Staff was very friendly. Trolley comes to hotel to take you downtown. Nice little lake on premises to walk around.

Most of the lights in the room did not work.I think they do that to keep their electric bills down. I've seen it with other hotels. When I called front desk, I got the people in the room next to mine who said they had the same problems. They also turned off my t.v. before checkout time.

The good service received from the staff. One of our rooms had an unidentified strong smell. Upon notification the front desk staff moved us to an upgraded room in the same floor. They came to our room to ask again if we were satisfied and did not have any other problem. The breakfast area staff as well as the housekeeping staff were friendly and courteous.

My husband, kids and I went for Father’s Day weekend. We had a pleasant experience at this hotel. The check in process was a breeze I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. The lobby was very nice and clean. Upon entering the room there were no weird smells and the room was absolutely spotless, the beds were full sized but really comfortable. The breakfast choices were amazing!! It was real food which was an added bonus to our stay. Sausages, eggs etc there was something for everyone. There was a waffle station which my kids and husband enjoyed. The pool area was nice it was never overly crowded making it an enjoyable time for my kids to swim there was also a hot tub as well. The hotel parking was plentiful and it was also close to the outlets and just a short drive to the old section. My only gripe would be there were not enough linens for the bathroom, we were short towels and washcloths. Overall I give it 5 stars and I would stay here again.

Your skeleton crew staff are amazing. They are juggling more than one job and none of them did it with a negative attitude. The ones that are there you are working them too hard. You need to give them great incentives. They tried to help everyone who came to the counter and tried to be as accommodating as possible.

I wish more information was explained at the time of check in about the cleaning of the rooms due to COVID. I did catch on but it would be better to place a linen box at the end of each hallway so customers can drop off their soiled towels and not have to leave them in the room. We caught on in reference to the garbage and used the garbage cans that were provided which helps.

Breakfast staff is so nice and they are so friendly. I loved the hot tub because after a long day of exploring the city you really need to relax. they have a small marketplace that if you forgot or needed something sweet they indulge you. Highlight of the trip was the laundry service its $2 to was and $2.00 to dry and they offer soap and laundry sheet at no extra cost.

Nothing really, you are getting great value for the price.

I'm a repeat visitor. Great staff, clean and comfortable room and a nice breakfast offering. The location is very good. I can always count on this facility to take care of me when I visit.

Would appreciate a lower room rate. Stayed on Sun thru Thurs and expected a lesser rate.

The room was small and you could hear conversations from the room next to you. Breakfast area was cramped and limited on the offerings. The building felt old and outdated. It is a drive to any activities
