Windsor inn of Jacksonville

i really liked how helpful and friendly the staff was, the place itself was one of the best of comparible price i have visited

i left deposit of 100 USD at frontdesk and did not receive the money back

This is an older building but is beautiful. Inside entrance was gorgous with an inviting staircase, sitting area, and tvs. They are in the process of changing names, which made me double-check my reservation. The staff were friendly and checked us in quickly. They are in the process of remodeling. Our room was mostly updated, with a newly tiled bathroom. The beds were comfortable. The pillows were ok but a little on the thin side. They have a small pool and large court yard area where you can relax without the sight of the hustle and bustle of the main roads. They had breakfast, which was bagles, toast, 6 make your own waffles. They offered Orange juice, milk, water, and coffee for drinks. Overall. Nice economic place to stay.

The showered didn't drain very well. The carpet was old and definitely needed a deep clean or to be torn out and replaced. (Which may be their next step in the process of remodeling.) Their ice machine was a very small residential ice maker.

The swimming pool is the highlight of the property and having a room that faces it makes the stay more enjoyable.

Room doors have gaps that let light in so bugs also get in.

The place needs some improving . The bathroom had a broken towel holder in it and the tub / shower drained. Very slow . It was 3/4th full not draining by the time I showered .

The breakfast bar is demolished within an hour and a half and no restocking . I walked in at 8 and there was nothing left but cereal and waffles .. all the pastries , bread to make toast was gone . Out of sugar nobody restocking as things ran out . Worst continental breakfast bar I’ve ever seen .

Nice sized room, comfortable bed, close to cruise port. Tub is a good size and it comes with a plug. I like the way the was cloths were folded in the hand towels.

Small pillows, not enough for a king size bed, iron and ironing board needed cleaning. It left black streaks on my new dress the moment it touched it. TV channels are hard to figure out if they work by the guide and the front desk clerk couldn’t tell me which channels were available.

Everything was perfect about my stay here. The price, breakfast, location staff, access to things local attractions and the local people were excellent. 5 stars for sure.

I have no complaints about the property but you could tell it was a little older and needed some updating but it was super clean and relaxing.

Location of the property was great. We just got in on a late flight. We also stayed night before we flew out.

Well booked a room. The room was on the back side of the property as soon as we walked in there was a big 🪳 (Roach) on the bed I screamed and immediately ran out. The front desk gave us a room on the inside of the property. That was the first time that happened guess the property manager needs to update the property and rooms.

Everything including the front desk lady's one particular young lady on the evening i forgot her name but she has blonde hair. She found my bank card and tried contacting me but thank gid i came back that evening was so worried. And she gave it to me i felt like crying. She is awesome and the morning ladies are t o god bless them all and making me smile. Cant wait to a see them this coming Saturday. I am a vendor at pecan fleamarket and travel from daytona Beach so every weekend i will stay at quality in i felt very safe and comfortable.

staff was kind, food breakfast.

room was a little dirty. not enough to complain but it could be cleaner. there were stains in the bathtub and the dresser was torn up.
