Islander Bayside Villas & Boatslips

Loved the Location of our unit! The location was great! Having the boat slip eventually the end slip was great!!

I was sad to see the beach area not Usable. Was expecting kayaks and paddleboards. I was expecting on arrival to have the end boat slip even confirmed prior to arrival. Was told on arrival that they don’t confirm the boat slips and for most of the days had a bad middle boat slip. Dock was wobbly and not safe. Dangerous for other boats in marina to get enter and exit marina. Our unit118 is in definite need of some updating. Beds were not comfortable and left feeling ill due to some painted over mold.

Very clean with pretty views of the bay. Ocean side pools very nice, beach is wide and manicured, and the boat tour of the sandbar was awesome! All staff were very nice and professional. Nice central location not far from the southern keys. Lots of designated bike lanes across all the keys.

No swimming in the bay on the bayside property...warning signs for snake habitat. Ocean entrance on oceanside was mostly grassy with little sandy beach. Utensils in the unit were dollar store quality. Nothing to use for oven cooking. Only enough place settings for 4-6. No towel service at pool - only self-service by going to the office but office is locked up after 5 pm and pool is open until 10, so get a towel during regar business hours.

Great location and value. We brought our own bikes and enjoyed the large sidewalks. This is a very private option away from the main resort. We hardly used the resort facility. Very close to great restaurants and Publix. Views from the pool and beach landing were great. we say manatee's everyday and lots of birds.

The town house was pretty beat up. Housekeeping was not on a daily basis but we were able to ask for additional towels and trade towels in . I took our garbage to the dumpster almost every day.

we loved that we had access to the sister resort and the shuttle was available to take us back and forth. Also, we could walk to local restaurants. The boat slips are well maintained and having the hoses available was great as well. The property was clean and the staff was very friendly and professional.

parking was tight, especially with bigger vehicles that are towing boats. Also the king bed was not very comfortable. It needs a mattress topper or something because while I don’t mind a firm bed, this bed was hard.

Nice size villa with clean and comfortable beds. We were able to check in at 3:00! With 3 adults, we 2 twin beds and king bed worked well! Nice and quiet- very relaxing!

upon arriving, we had 3 electrical outlets that were not working in the kitchen and downstairs bathroom. We told the office staff and they sent maintenance to fix the kitchen ones but the bathroom did not work for 5 night stay. Bathtub drain didn’t drain well. Limited number of dishes in this unit Villa 111

We had the best time at Islander Bayside! We traveled eith friends and family including children and it exceeded our expectations! We loved being able to keep our boat the bayside, sit outside and get complete peace, but also use the Islander Resort amenities! We are sold! Can’t wait to go back!!

We wish the beds could have been more comfortable, but other than that- nothing to complain about!!

very clean properties with full kitchen/living space, two king size beds and boat parking. Sunsets are great from the pool and grill. very cold AC.

There are some little nuisances that are probably more tied to our inflationary environment more than usual. For example, the shampoo, soap, etc had all been watered down to get more out of a bottle. The kitchen is not well stocked. Beds are pretty dang hard. The staff hours are fairly short. We had our key card stop working and someone from another property had to come assist. boats slips access is pretty shallow.

The villas are nice enough, clean and comfortable. The pool area is absolutely phenomenal, particularly at sunset.

The downstairs bathroom had an issue with ants but this was not down to uncleanliness, as they were contained in this bathroom only. The website said the staff were onsite until 9pm but were gone before 8pm and only contactable by on-site phone.

Location and staff. Access to full resort pool and dining were great.

Living room furniture and digital TV were not what we expected. We were scheduled for an extended stay (33-35nights) and so extra time was spent in Villa. Extra soft bed with Noisy overhead fan impacted evening sleep.

Spacious townhouse, perfect for families. Lovely pool area on the water. Boat docks. Also use of the resort across the way is a plus. More pools and beach area. Plus dining and drinks.

Would say the beds aren’t very comfortable. They did say that they are going to be doing upgrades to the property very soon.
