Satellite Hotel

I like the quietness of the location and the price far exceeded my expectations. The room was very nice and will definitely return to the location in the future.

I feel like the front desk staff could've been a little nicer since their attitude came off a little rude. I also think the parking lot left a lot to be desired.

I didn't have anything to eat. Don't think there was a breakfast, but there could have been. I had a little trouble being warm and was greatly helped by the woman who worked that night. Unfortunately, I did not get her name, but she went out of her way to help me. I slept better than I have in years - which was the whole night without waking up. However, I'd been up for 48 hrs. Everything was comfortable and very clean. There are people who also live there and I believe they do some of the work. All that I met were really nice. Lots of friendliness and smiles. I go back to COS every 6 mo and will stay there again and again. It was a comfortable environment. I think if you ask to face the mountains you probably will get a room facing that direction. It wasn't important to me. I used to live there so have seen them many times. There are restaurants close by and markets. There is a little deck and if you want to stay warm at night you might want to bring a blanket. AC works good. This was my first stay. lots of perm tenants had dogs, but I never heard them bark. I liked it so will return.

The heating system is older so is on a different routine. You get heat in the winter and AC in the summer. We've had lots of high temps this summer, but still cools at night. I had some surgery so needed a little more warmth at night.

I could hear fire and police sirens going off all night (it’s located right next to a fire station). I also didn’t care for the mix of owned rooms and rental rooms on the same floor since folks who own their “condos” clearly don’t have to abide by the same rules as those of us on short-term stays. I shared a floor with a pot smoker and even though I am 420 friendly, I don’t know how they can call my room a non-smoking room when it reeked of Snoop-Dog on the whole floor.

This is our second time at Satellite. We always enjoy the breakfast at the Orbiz room. The work out room has a number of machines to use.

Our Room was in A Wing on 3rd floor. The hotel has a no smoking policy, although either employees or other permanent residents violated the policy. We had to stuff towels under our door to keep cigarette odor from entering our room.

We had Pam to check us in we arrived a little early and since our room was not ready just yet she took my name and number to call us as soon as it was.. above and beyond exceptional customer service We also had a fire alarm that needed a battery and kept chirping they had it fixed in 10 minites

Coffee in the morning... my husband is a super early riser and they don't have coffee in the lobby

This place is immaculate. Whoever does their room detailing deserves five gold stars! Staff were always on hand and helpful. Location, while not surrounded by places to go on foot, is so well placed in the bigger Colo Spgs setting that you can't miss.

Not sure if I ticked a box that I didn't want room service but didn't get any for a three night stay.

The staff was exceptional about fixing our problem. Someone had signed off they'd cleaned the rooms on the original floor we were put on. Not something that should fall back on the hotel itself at all. Things happen. Obviously they had not been cleaned yet. The guy at the front desk walked upstairs with us himself to check out the rooms and personally made sure they were clean once we told them the issue with the first one. Our problem was immediately addressed and we were quickly put into a clean room. We also received a free upgrade for our inconvenience. The room that we were finally put it was spotless and comfortable. The staff was above and beyond kind our entire stay. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The first two rooms we were given a key to weren't originally clean.

Very clean upgraded unit we were placed in. Staff was very responsive to any needs we had. Workout room was available with upgraded machines. Nice breakfast included daily

The property is very old although kept up to a high standard. Workers were performing routine daily maintenance to keep the property in good shape

I had booked a room with 2 queen beds. When I arrived they gave me a single bed room. They don’t have another double room available until the next day. They did give us 2 rooms that weren’t ready for guests for the night. They also refunded me one night stay.

Clean, cool, comfortable. Easy to get to and convenient to where I needed to go. Not in the city center, so no bad traffic, either. Great views.

Couldn't get a hold of a real person after about 11pm, to get a wake up call or anything else. It was just all closed up, and no phone numbers to contact anyone.
