Wyndham Visalia

I liked the location, with the nice big park across the street. The building is really nice, clean, and comfortable. The staff was super helpful. It smells clean and inviting as soon as the front doors open. The cafe was convenient. The indoor pool is one of the biggest I've seen in a hotel. I appreciate that the staff keeps up on the towels and cleanliness throughout opening hours. The room was spacious and I really like the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf tea and coffee provided. The bed was very comfortable and the heating system maintained a comfortable temp throughout my stay. It was also very quiet, I heard very little noise from inside the hotel and very little from outside, even though we were next to an airport.

The hot tub was down. This is the third time in a row a hotel hot tub has been down during my stay. Bad luck! The vending machine was empty but there were 2 bottles of water provided and the snack store had beverages available, so this was a minor inconvenience.

Great location… stayed here for a trip to Sequoia National Park. It was an hour away which wasn’t too bad and it was right on the exit to the highway making it easy to get to and leave. The staff is wonderful! Let’s are actually welcome, most places say pets are allowed but this place really made me feel like my doggies were welcome.

Not a fan of the $100 deposit per room. I paid in advance but still had to pay a deposit per room which was really annoying and on top of that I was told it would take 5 days or so to get it back.

This is a top notch hotel in the Wyndham chain. I have stayed at many Wyndham family hotels mainly La Quinta locations. I had home renovations and choose the Wyndham Visalia and couldn't be more happy. The staff was wonderful the hotel is on par with the Marriott. If looking for hotel in Visalia pet friendly or not I would choose the Wyndham Visalia over La Quinta. The Wyndham is much more professional you won't be greated with someone wearing a hoodie.

The property is always comfortable, located by a park and freeway. Most of the staff is nice and helpful.

Toilet paper could be better quality, could offer continental breakfast, ran out of bananas we couldn’t get our traditional banana split. I make request when I book online and they are never addressed. It would be nice to have my request addressed. Monitor pool area a little more for kids running and jumping into pool with other guests present.

I was able to check in early and that was wonderful since I was tired from driving for 5 hrs. Bernice at the front desk was very knowledgeable about the area and answered all my questions about the hotel. Very professional as well as friendly, checking in was super quick & easy !! I met Donna & Destiny on my way to the room and chatted with them for awhile. They were both very sweet and told me that if I needed ANYTHING during my stay to just let them know. My room was so comfortable and very quiet !! AC worked beautifully !! Mary at the Cafe was also very kind and friendly. Breakfast was delicious and the price was right !! My overall impression of the Wyndham in Visalia is that the staff enjoy their jobs and go out of their way to make the guests feel welcome !! Looking forward to a return visit !!

Can't think of a single thing I was unhappy about... except the weather 🤣 the entire weekend was so HOT !!

A near perfect experience. Hotel is situated just outside the lovely city of Visalia, close to the airport. It's about an hours drive from Sequioa National Park which makes it a convenient place to stay for people interested in visiting the park. The room was clean and comfortable, with a newly renovated bathroom and large bed. The hotel offers many on-site amneties such as a pool, bar and restaurant. Staff were also nice and helpful

My one gripe is the location as the hotel is not that close to many services. Other than that, no complaints.

dated areas not yet refurbished, mainly in the hallways and stairway… musty old smell, no coffee maker in the room, hotel cafe had Starbucks brand coffee for sale at $4 a cup, but the two I brought the first morning was barely warm and tasted obviously old (around d 7am)also slow service with messed up order, wife said instead of bath robes, give better toilet papers

We liked that it was within walking distance from the Visalia Airport where we had stopped for fuel in a 1927 open cockpit biplane; saw the hotel sign and decided to spend the night because it also had a restaurant. The room was very comfortable and the bath was clean with good products. We enjoyed our evening meal in the restaurant which also had a sports bar. The staff were very friendly.

Unfortunately we needed some medical assistance and the lady at the frontdesk helped us with good information. Everything worked out fine. The hotel is close to the freeway, has good parking and lots of extra's, which we didn't use.

Under our window were a lot of airco-units on the roof. That proved to be a bit noisy during the night. Not that it would keep you awake, but enough to irritate a little.

We stayed less than 24 hours. At check in we were given a bag of waters. Fruit. Goldfish and candy bars. The room was stuffy when we arrived. Turning on the a/c was easy and the room was comfortable in a very short time. The shower floor could have been a little cleaner. That’s probably a personal preference. We would definitely stay there again.
