The room was clean and quiet. There was a balcony with a table and chairs to relax on. The was not much human interaction you checking at a sales office at the beginning of the road. All directions are emailed to you and entry codes are emailed to you.
The room was a bit on the smaller. There was a list of things to do before checking out, such as strip your beds of all linen and pile it on your bed. Place all towels in the tub or shower and remove all trash and recyclable items and place in trash bins outside. I do tidy up my hotel rooms before leaving but it never had at to do before.

Northstar as a property manager was excellent! Very friendly, accommodating and easy to check-in/out. Also staying at Northstar provided a boatload of conveniences - from village, to swimming pool, to tennis, all right there.
The $5/per person to use pool and recreation area is kind of cheap to charge guests. Not sure why that isn't just baked into cost of renting unit. No A/C proved to be an inconvenience too. Keep in mind when you book at Northstar, you are most likely booking a unit owned by an individual renting it out, using Northstar as the property manager, so be open to personal tastes in decorating, kitchenware, etc.

Location is awesome, very close to lake Tahoe and other places of interest, like Truckee and Reno and it's very relaxing
Parking very difficult for seniors with mobility issues, I told staff it was our first time as guests, trying to find out where things were how things work that kind of things no help to us. We figured it out for ourselves

Closed to ski gondola, you can’t walk though, either take the free shuttle or drive and park. The house is spacious and quiet.

Lovely condo. The location was perfect and had a great patio.
There were yellow jackets in the bathroom. We informed the staff and the were willing to send someone to take care of it but given COVID we weren't comfortable with having a stranger come in. Unfortunately the staff was not very apologetic, in fact, they were a bit rude about it.

quiet location, very nice furnished room with kitchenette, walking distance to ski resort, 15min drive to center and lake side.
Inconvenient stairs are no good if you have big luggages to carry. No available ramps and elevator on site.
