Excellent room, deluxe double with balcony. Spacious, good bathroom with oval bath, seperate shower and seperate toilet. Good size balcony, comfortable chairs, view over State Street to hills, side view ocean. First class location.

Aircon was old. Not possible to set aircon to temp required, and have it stay on. It would go on and off. Kept room cold, but annoying. Front Desk said they would fix it twice, but did not. On day 4, I returned to my room at 10.30pm and found both sinks covered in muck. The guy they sent was puzzled! I asked for an explanation, which was not given, I had to ask at the desk. Some sort of blow back in the piping! I could not use the sinks that evening or in the morning. No apology. I thought this poor. As often the case, plenty of promises, not kept. Annoying that no restaurant for breakfast, so use Janice's next door, which is good, but.....

Good location. Room was very large, with nice sitting area and separate desk area. The bathroom was large and very nice, especially the shower. There was a balcony with seating

There was a $32 a night parking fee I was unaware of. Nothing else.

The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. We had a lovely patio that let in the ambient noise of the surf and outside however, our room directly overlooked the pool area so we also frequently heard loud children playing outside and music from the pool. The bathroom was especially nice as it had a separate water closet for the toilet and shower and the sink and tub were in their own area. The location to the water cannot be beat.

The price for parking when there were clearly not enough spots for guests to park was frustrating. The accessibility to get to our room from the elevator with heavy bags was not ideal as there were two separate sets of stairs we would have to lug the suitecase up or down (even using the elevator).

The location was fantastic. We were in walking distance to the beach, pier, food, and stores. It was lovely. The pool was warm, although a little dirty due to all the wind and trees around. Our balcony view was lovely, and we enjoyed just relaxing and sitting. Bathroom was very nice with a luxurious tub and shower.

Two things that bothered me was, the room had ants. They were on the night stand and sometimes would even crawl on the bed. That was a bit uncomfortable. And there was only one vending machine for drink and snacks and it was by the pool area. They do not have a market. The grounds are very large and at night it’s a walk. You have to make sure you bring your own drinks and snacks.

Fantastic location right across the beach and State st with all the good restaurants and shops. Funk zone with interesting bars is just a couple of blocks away. The pool area was very pretty with lots of tables to eat and drink, plenty of lounge chairs to relax. The king suite we stayed in the west wing was spacious and nicely decorated. We had an ocean front room with a beautiful view of the pool and the beach.

The north wing where my adult kids stayed had 2 queen beds. Unfortunately, my son believes that the beds were smaller than a queen and are actually full size beds. The room they stayed in was also facing a parking lot which was unfortunate. For those staying in the north wing, know that it’s across the street from the main hotel.

They were kind enough to upgrade us to a suite in order to be next to the other room we needed. The staff was super friendly, helpful and the rooms were nice size and well maintained. It is right in the downtown area - lots to see and do - restaurants nearby. Great location for staying long-term.

We had booked at this last minute for a graduation taking place. They were kind enough to upgrade us to a suite in order to be next to the other room we needed. However; it is described as having an ocean view and I guess if you go out on the patio, you're 6ft or higher and tippy toe you can have. a straight shot view. Otherwise there is a tree hedge and on the other side of it the opportunity to have people sit and eat their breakfast in your view. We weren't in the rooms long enough for it to matter to us but it might matter to someone else. Parking is a bit of a stretch if you come in late.

Hotel does not take any responsibility / provide support if booked through booking.com. Booking.com is impossible to work with so be on notice that you are on your own. I was very disappointed in the hotel's interest or willingness to assist with a cancellation that was done but not noted in their system. Got into a very uncomfortable argument with the desk staff (manager and another person) on if I cancelled and discussions I had with other staff who were handling the situation...but did not note it in the system. Hotel is excellent but when it comes to booking.com issues they completely wash hands of situation and customer satisfaction is no longer their concern.

Facilities were beautiful. Staff was great. Location was perfect.

Both key cards that we were given at check in did not work. Fortunately, a maintenance worker called it in and after about a 10 minute wait outside of our room, someone brought us new cards to use. In addition, the remote to our TV did not work. It would turn on and off but you could not change the channels. Again maintenance came and had to reboot the TV and then it began working again. All these were minor inconveniences but when you are paying these kind of prices for a room, you don't expect to have these minor issues.

Location is unbeatable. Room was recently remodeled and nicely done with good sheets, towels etc. Staff were great Pool and hot tub area is lovely.

Hotel remodel was underway and I would have preferred to know that before arriving - some construction noise early in the morning (8AM.) Parking is $32 per night, not well advertised (no mention at check in etc). This is simply gouging and leaves you with a sour taste on check out. Minor issues: Not enough sockets in the room - had to choose between charging phone or bedside lamp for example. Not enough places to hang wet towels or wet swim gear - one two pronged hook for a family room.

The room was good, large and spacious, with a lovely balcony. Right next to State Street and the beach. Convenient location. I would definitely stay here again if hospitality or welcoming service did not matter to me at all.

The hotel and its staff are clearly not in the business of hospitality. They are in the business of conducting business. Every person at reception was barely adequate in terms of friendliness. It's as if they've been advised against smiling or making you feel welcome. They offer the bare minimum even in response. When I called to ask if they offer slippers, the answer was a curt, "No." It may be okay that they don't offer slippers—not a big deal—but this type of unfriendly response is surprising when they market themselves as a 4-star hotel. The service and hospitality provided needs to match those standards.
