The entire place is styled beautifully. The location is great. The room was very clean and very comfortable. The room was elegant with a fantastic view. The front desk people were warm and accommodating. My best friend and I absolutely loved our stay!

Such a tiny thing... But the elevator was a little strange with a regular door in front of the elevator doors. Also it was a little pricy but it seemed worth it because it was a very safe area and it was so beautiful!

Good hotel with a very convenient location in the historic center. True, it is better to take a taxi to the famous embankment. Walking distance to Union Square and Chinatown. I liked the care of the staff, and that there is hot water and tea on the 1st floor.

The air conditioner is noisy. I use earplugs and could sleep. But without them, hardly anyone will fall asleep.

Rooms are very stylish with mid-century moderne artwork and furnishings. Very bright and sunny, spacious with a desk area and also seating area, plus a comfortable king bed. Big newly tiled bathrooms, super clean. Good WiFi and our room had city views, which we loved. Staff was helpful; maid service done after we left as we requested. Hope the restaurant lounge reopends for our return.

If I have to nitpick, I would have preferred a coffeemaker in the room. Instead, we were welcomed to go to the lobby and ask the front desk person to bring out coffee or hot water from the back room. Then, had to carry it upstairs to consume. I know California has had very strict Covid safety protocols but in most places, coffeemakers and other high-touch items have been returned to the rooms.

I requested a ‘city view’ room and was not disappointed. The room overlooked all of southeastern San Francisco. This is a small boutique hotel with exceptional comfort details and it was super clean. The attached garage was very convenient and reassuring, too.

Disappointing that there is no breakfast or in-room coffee, but complimentary coffee downstairs was good.

Our view of the city from the second floor was awesome. I also loved the you could crack the window. Easy to get to, easy for ubers/ubers eats to find. Quaint lobby and rooms that match the $$ you pay. I loved our stay here and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to the San Fransisco area. Minutes away from everything touristish you could want to see.

The only thing we didn't like was the elevator. It was just old, Thats it.

Excellent location. we were able to find street parking easily. Very spacious large room. We needed an extra bed one of the nights because our daughter joined us and there was plenty of space for everyone.

The elevator is outdated and slow; The shower pressure was very low. Also as far as TV, I prefer to have streaming services rather than cable.

The location was great since we needed to be near Kaiser Hospital. Close to grocery stores and everything we needed. Tanya checked us in and she was wonderful! She made us feel at home. Coffee in the lobby was great, as was the espresso machine in our room. We definitely would have taken advantage of a terrific gym at the next door JCC if we were staying longer. We recommend The Laurel Inn!

The hotel is just off a busy street but you seldom hear any road noise. They had good quality coffee and tea in the lobby. The bed was very comfortable.

We took the stairs to and from the lobby and the handrail felt sticky. It’s a little thing, but it lowered my sense of hotel cleanliness. Our room and bathroom were clean and nice.

Great room and a really good location. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. We loved the homebaked cookies available daily. We had a great experience and would recommend this hotel. The bar is beautiful too with great decor and a cozy fire and ambience, definitely good for a few relaxed adult drinks.
