The Grove at Pismo Beach

The bath tub was amazing in the room. The size of the jacuzzi was large and also had a waterfall. The pool was also heated.

funny you should ask. we book spots that offer breakfast so as not to have to get up and go for coffee and a quik bite. this site usually offers breakfast and the booking.com posting said it had breakfast so when we got the email after booking saying there was no breakfast due to renovations we were a bit disappointed. this is the 2nd time we've been "duped" into making a booking at a place we'd normally pass on. Not The Grove's fault...but daaaang it

I’ve stayed at this property before and the beds are comfy, it’s generally clean. Staff is nice but not overly welcoming or friendly. The pool and hot tub were wonderful.

It’s usually clean but during this stay i noticed the fridge had some left over stain from someone else’s belongings that wasn’t cleaned. The blanket on the bed had a small stain. Staff could be a bit more friendly. When turning the fan on in the bathroom our room started to smell like smoke. Not entirely sure what that was about but was not pleasant.

The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. I wake up every day with a stiff back. I woke up both mornings of our stay feeling amazing. I actually wanted to ask staff what brand it was! Very clean came with coffee machine in the room, nice shower. Walk-in shower but as long as a bath. Came with 6 feathered pillows and the most comfortable blankets. I loved everything about it. Definitely going back next month.

No washer and dryer facility.

This was a great rest stop for visiting PIsmo Beach. The room was clean, the bed was big and comfortable. We were woken up by some building work very early on the first morning, but it forced us out of bed and ready to go and enjoy the day so we weren't too annoyed. The AC was great and the room had a fridge and coffee machine. Staff were friendly at the front desk, breakfast was basic but fine! Toast, cereal and scrambled eggs, waffles, juice and tea as well as fruit. The pool looked fab, although we didn't have time to use it we seen lots of families enjoying it throughout our stay. Nice outlet shopping complex right beside the hotel, and the california fresh market is just up the street for stocking up on picnic essentials for day tripping. Definitely recommend this spot!

was near a shopping center, quite a few eateries, and wasn’t that far of a drive to the beach. I forgot the ladies name that worked in the morning but she called and asked if we were going to check out soon, told her yes we were on our way out, she replied back with just checking to see if you needed more time. Never had that at any other hotels.

I didn’t like the fact that we had to leave, that’s the only bad thing that I would have.

Your shower contractor should have put deeper shower pans in. Your shower curtains are too high and you will destroy your floors due to water on the floor. At least in 204. Not a good design after the nice renovation. A little too much smelly spray from the cleaners.front door needs weatherstrip. Easy fix. Big gaps. It would save you energy costs.

They were doing construction so they had brown bag breakfast for adults and children which was super cool. The room was tiny but very clean. Overall for the price was well worth it.

Preface ocean view when booking as I thought all rooms faced the ocean which isn’t the case and most rooms closest to the pool were only king beds at check in time. maybe preface that too when booking.

Breakfast exceeded expectations, refrigerator, microwave, bed, thermostat with temperature display for easy accurate control.

WIFI rarely worked. Surprised by fee for using credit card. I reserved the room online using same credit card and the total cost online was lower than when I got the total receipt at the hotel. So I feel this was a bait and switch. Ie online price doesn't include credit card fee, that way customers choose Quality Inn for low price then pay more later when they check in or out, by getting the surprise credit card fee.
