Marriott's Shadow Ridge I - The Villages

I loved the complimentary coffee in the room. I loved the text service. I loved the transportation service. The room was huge and clean. I loved that the tv had Netflix. I loved that it had a kitchen and washer and drier even tho we didn’t need to use it.

I didn’t like that a cockroach come in from outside the balcony. That was gross and scary. Although, I know it’s not the hotels fault. I didn’t like the bed too much. It was definitely worn in and was a little sunken in. I also think the cost of this hotel should be cheaper. I spent almost 600 dollars for only 2 nights with all the fees. I also didn’t like that the only restaurants on property were closed. I wanted to eat there. And the marketplace was so expensive. The pool can also be a colder temperature. It was 114 that day and the water was barely cold.

Love this resort for the spacious rooms and many large pools. Had a one bedroom king bed that was amazinly comfortable, my adult son slept on the sofa bed in the large living roo.m which he reported was comfortable. The central air conditioning was perfect and quiet The pools are very clean and there are several. The bar at the pool Without the TV was our favorite, Jessie, Paul and Isreal know how to make a drink and keep a crowd moving. The Mahi Mahi Fish Tacos are very good. Might be cliche but have the pinacolada anyway, add a rum float. )

The food here is subpar at best. The fish tacos are the only decent things to eat. We had a full functioning one bedroom condo, with full size kitchen, so prepping meals is a better option. Dining away from resort another option. It's worth it, these rooms, the sunshine and pool open till 10pm, all beautiful and clean, quiet, and comfortable, loved it.

Loved the texting concierge option and the checking out process! We loved the villa amenities and space! The pools and lounges were better than expected! We would definitely stay here again. The whole family had a blast!

There wasn’t really anything like per say. The checking in process was simple and quick. The woman that checked me in was quick and helpful but based on her tone, facial expressions and short answers I felt like I wasn’t worthy of her time. I would say that’s the only part that rubbed me the wrong way. She didn’t smile once.

It was very nice,clean and simple! Easy to get to all outdoor activities. Would like to go back and have more time to experience more of the offers the hotel has.

I wish they had more pool towels outside to use.

Shuttles to get around. Text messages to answer questions. I like that the TV had Netflix app. I enjoyed glass blowing. You should have more adult activities at the Mirage.

Have the pools stay open longer at night. Pool temp was too warm during the day. The onsite restaurant has closed. You needed more servers at the main pool, one server is not enough. You should have more adult activities at the Mirage.

We came for my son's 17th birthday and my son is developmentally delayed and he had an blast this was one of his best birthdays ever outside all the other bday parties I have given him this one top them all thank you Marriott Shadow Ridge for making our stay comfortable enjoyable and making my son feel wow and excepted thank you thank

There was nothing not to like

I liked the condo it was spacious, the bed was very comfortable. The grounds were very well kept.

I didn't like the garbage was the next building down. I didn't like that the balcony and view was of a busy street. I also would have liked a baking sheet. The dishwasher didn't clean the dishes. I didn't like all of the pools weren't open which made the pools that were open crowded. The fireplace didn't work.

We had a two room villa for our stay. Our main was not ready at 4pm check-in. We were able to get into the adjoining room, but the main room was still not. We thought the room just needed to be cleaned, but saw a maintenance tech enter to repair the garbage disposal. The room was still not ready by 6pm and I called the front desk to complain since we needed to get ready for dinner. The desk clerk said me that I was told the room would not be ready because of the garbage disposal repair. This was never conveyed to me and would have requested another room at check-in. No other rooms were now available. We eventually got into the room around 7pm. The maintenance manager gave us a meal credit which we appreciated, but wish we didn't have to wait so long.

Loved the whole experience. Easy check in, very clean room and the staff was excellent. Loved the pool vibe!! Especially the main pool, not many children and very adult atmosphere. Love kids, but wanted to relax

The only thing we didn’t like was the noise at the pool, every time someone turned on the jacuzzi. They really need to fix that. Very annoying.

Our two-bedroom villa was actually two connected condos. We were delighted to have two lovely patios, a large kitchen and a mini-kitchen, two King beds and two large pull-out beds. All accommodated our family extremely comfortably. The grounds were lovely and the variety of activities was impressive. We will be back!

We wished there had been more tennis courts -- or more availability. Next time we will check out where additional tennis courts are located in the area. Otherwise, we were very pleased with all aspects of the resort.
