We LOVE this hotel for our weekend getaways to Oceanside. It’s affordable and comfortable and the location is perfect. We were very late checking into our hotel at our recent stay and had originally paid for the most basic double queen room that we could find since this was such a last minute trip. We did not expect to be upgraded to a suite like room with an amazing ocean view.

Wish they served breakfast but that’s it!

Super basic motel/hotel. We wanted value and location, which we got. We had requested a Queen bed with Balcony, it wasn't available when we checked in for some reason so they upgraded us to a King. We had no balcony, but were on the first floor, parked just outside our room and the room was HUGE. Comfortable bed and clean. Friendly staff and conveniently located near restaurants, the beach, etc.

We were just there for one night, so not much to dislike. It's a no frills type of place, good for a good night's sleep and a shower if you're traveling.

Everybody is playing catch up with sky high inflation and lack of staff. This location is doing very well given the current state of things. My room upgrade and priority given to us due to having reservations was handled excellent. Parking for the Marina is less than a five minute drive. We will definitely be back.

Room could use a deep cleaning which is probably impossible with current staffing shortages. NOTICED FINGERPRINTS DOWN THE INSIDE OF ENTRANCE DOOR (that can only be seen when the lighting is perfect) and I understand that the food area was closed, but my wife felt there should be at least something done to provide coffee addicts with a fix. lol

This location was for the price good. There is no Breakfast nor any other food. They do have a ice machine. Was expecting the worst after reading online reviews. However the room was big, it was very clean. Room service came every day to change the bedding, towels and vacuum. It also had great air conditioning. We were very happy also pool was awesome.

Missing breakfast and coffee. They really need a small one cup coffee maker in the room.

The location is great! So close to the beach and restaurants. The view of the beach and marina from our room was amazing! The room had ample space and was clean. The bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly and the on-site parking was convenient.

The common areas and hallways are a bit dingy. The rooms could use a little touch up. I wish there was coffee available.

I’ve stayed at Rodeway Inn Oceanside Marina and chose to come back for another visit. The hotel is basic but offers all advertised amenities, and the cleaning is of a good standard. The reception staff are friendly and helpful.

The Wi-Fi is a little temperamental. It would be nice if the rooms had a safe.

The Maids were amazing and very kind

Amost every night Cigerette smoke entered my room from inside either from the Laundry room or the clients in the next room over I made mention to the staff and one staff said she could smell it. I am NOT a smoker and there are signage there that there is smoking areas. I had a hard time breathing and was stuffy nose due to the smoke in my room. At the end of my stay my lungs were hurting me as I had to sleep with that second hand smoke in my room I paid alot of money for. The only thing I got was 2 emails stating you don't allow smoking in the rooms. Because of that I had to cancel my extented stay. and didn't get the proper rest I needed and wanted while I was there. Other than that everything else was GOOD! Thank you. I would like to get some money back for that inconvience if I could?

Staff were all friendly and you could see the ocean from the balcony, not a far walk to the beach which was nice.

The room was outdated, and the carpet was OLD, the mini fridge looked beat up, but it was clean inside and kept all the food cold.

The location is perfect! Downtown Oceanside is 10mins away, the ocean in kind of down the street. We had a “King room view on the ocean” and the room was clean and spacious. The view on the ocean in the morning is a good way to start a good day.

The room smelled like cigarette even if it was written non-smoking room.

I liked the location! The ocean views are amazing. Great view of the harbor. We watched the fish jump in the river all week. Would be a great place to fish.

I didn’t like that there is no option for coffee. Non at the office or any makers in the rooms.
