Holiday Inn Express & Suites Oakland - Airport, an IHG Hotel

Everything I requested staff provided I wanted a room facing the airport I got it I wanted a later check out time I received it comfortable bed very clean everything work I'm a happy person 😊

I like the fact that Holiday Inn Express is just as good or better as the regular Holiday Inn around the corner

Well appointed room

I missed a flight due to an illness and needed overnight accomodations to catch a flight in the AM So I was a 'walk in'...and as such advised they really didnt have any rooms available save for this one room at $250 ......at their mercy and exhauted ( I was need to reach my daughter in Maryland who was having a brain scan for a cancerous tumor) I took the room Additionally I missed the breakfast serving time meaning i had to then go and pay for my breakfast elsewhere.

Friendly staff, comfy room, nice sleek design, clean, quiet, perfect location for my needs, friendly and responsible shuttle driver, very good proximity to airport.

Other guests refused to wear masks on small elevators and along breakfast buffet line. Some signs with some authoritative punch would be helpful, and desk staff should be empowered to follow up with clear communication about mask requirements. People who refuse to honor the rules should not be allowed back for future stays.

Staff was very friendly, breakfast was great, coffee was good. Rooms were clean.

Three nights in a row I had to ask for towels. Housekeeping never came and picked up our dirty towels or left clean towels. When I asked for towels they acted like it was a strange request. I can’t be the only person who uses a clean towel when showering.

The location was very close to the airport with free shuttle. Good breakfast with variety of hot/cold food/beverage choices. Room was decent size for one adult and 3 teen/young adults with all our luggage. Bathroom was very clean, beds comfortable. Staff was friendly, check-in was fast.

I have no complaints. The hotel was good for our needs.

The facility was clean and the room was comfortable. Our room was well laid out with everything we could have needed. The room and bathroom were clean and neat. Toiletries in the bathroom were great. It was very close to the airport, but not noisy. Breakfast was served timely and was good.

I didn't like the first room we were given. It smelled like cigarettes or some other sort of drug related stuff. We asked for a new room right away and it was nice. The parking and location seem a bit sketchy.

The bed and pillows were so comfy. There were nice soaps, breakfast- we grabbed stuff even though we were departing before breakfast service began which really helped us. The shuttle was exactly what we needed. The night clerk was fantastic.

Normally, it would be a bit basic for us, but this was exactly what we needed for a layover.

The room was very spacious. The bed was very comfortable. And the breakfast was good. They had cheese Omelets and turkey and pork sausages. Three different cereals and hot oatmeal. And to top it off, they have a self-made pancake maker.

The pillows were uncomfortable.

The hotel was great. Very clean, quiet and comfortable. The rooms were spacious and the beds were so comfortable. The breakfast was amazing. The choices were excellent. The staff was very kind and hospitality was great. I would return again if I need to in the future.
