Fireside Inn

Office staff Jenny and Justin were very nice, pleasant and helpful at check-in. We got there early and was allowed to check in at 10am. Araceli cleaned and had the room in perfect condition. 2 Queen beds are were firm and comfortable. No bed bugs. Sheets and towels were pure white and clean. The 3 pillows per bed were amazing pillows. Best pillows I have ever had at a hotel. Location was perfect. Just up the hill from Embarcadero St. Food, shopping and other shops just around the corner. I would DEFINATLY be back when i visit Morro Bay again.

The only thing that could have made my stay better would have been and TV channel guide. clicking thru all the channels to find the news channel we want was kind of a pain. A printed laminated list would have been great.

Wonderful place to stay. The rooms were freshly painted and clean. The coffee maker, refrigerator, and microwave were a plus too. The location is great. It’s with walking distance to most anything in Morro Bay. The parking lot safe, secure and close to our room. It was quiet and peaceful. We got a good nights sleep. We will definitely be back and recommend this place to stay at while in the area.

Fast and effortless checking & checkout. One upstairs room had high ceiling, quite spacious, and had a good view of the waterfront. Comfortable and clean beds. Clean bathrooms. Excellent location, a block from the waterfront of Morrow Bay.

The downstairs bedroom got a little noise from people walking upstairs (creaking wood). Basic amenities but good value for the location.

I liked that our room was very clean and spacious. The bathroom was exceptionally clean. I like that the bath/toilet are separate from the sink area making it easier to get ready when there are multiple people. Liked that our room had a sliding door with a balcony and chairs to enjoy the outdoors.

The only thing I did not like was that the window to the front of the room was too high and did not allow me to be able to look out to the parking area. However, this would not prevent me from staying here again in the future.

This hotel was much better than we expected. The desk clerk was very friendly, cheerful and helpful. Our room was very clean and had a nice shower. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioner/heater worked perfectly. The hotel is one block from many restaurants and all the main attractions of the town. Easily walkable to most things. Recommend this hotel for a comfortable and affordable stay.

Tv didn't work first night and had to have the manager fix it. Second night hot water wouldnt work and the faucet seemed to broken but we worked around it after management came and played with it for 10min himself. Its broke but he got it functioning. People above us stomped around through the night and walls so thin we heard the baby cry on and off all night.

The Inn is in a great location--just 2 short blocks from the main strip. The room was huge, the beds were comfortable, the a/c worked perfectly, the Inn was very quiet and I could not hear my neighbors, the staff was friendly, the vanity was large, and the water pressure and shower head were excellent. The staff honored my request to be upstairs and put me in a fabulous corner room that had a little bit of a view. I really appreciated the upgrade!

The sheets and one of the towels had stains on them and the room was very expensive ($734 for 2 nights). I understand the rate was much higher than normal, due to the 3 day holiday weekend, but it was still outrageous for a non-luxury hotel.

We booked their room #224 - King with corner view of sea & balcony. It had high ceilings, was spacious and comfortable. It was worth the extra compared with our family in the regular double queen room.

The garage across the street, but closing balcony doors helped. People like to wash their vehicles & vacuum them. I heard a weird noise around 10 pm and it was the old attendant at the garage sweeping up every speck of dirt from his garage grounds. It charmed me & it was finished by about 10:15 so nothing to worry about.

I really loved how large our room was. Lots of space for family. Had fridge and microwave. Was in a great location to easily get to the Embarcadero and restaurants. View was okay and you could see the water from our room so that was nice. Felt private and pretty good for our room as far as neighboring room noise upstairs in large two queen suite.

Welllll… it’s directly across from a 24 hour public car wash… what would possess people to wash and loudly vacuum at like midnight on a weeknight is beyond me and I don’t think there is much that can be done for that. Not sure how often that happens? There is a foghorn that repeats like every minute (in G sharp I think?!!) but again that’s a Morro Bay thing. So if you are sensitive to noise be prepared when you visit in general bring ear plugs ;)

The hotel location is great. Good value for the area. The staff was helpful in getting our trash emptied, clean towels, more coffee. Due to COVID-19, housekeeping couldn’t come in but we were okay with it.

The parking lot is very small and poorly designed. We frequently had to maneuver around cars with great difficulty. Also, be aware that seagulls are a menace in the area. Had to wash our truck several times during the week to protect the paint. This is not unique to this hotel. The whole area is covered with bird droppings.
