Ayres Hotel & Spa Mission Viejo

Big spacious room with extra couch area and very comfortable bed, small fridge, coffee maker, table and chair, nice very clean bathroom. American style breakfast is included. Very good value compared to what you get for the same price in other places. Very friendly and proactive employees. Felt like a luxurious experience. Rooms are well isolated, you ve got privacy and dont hear other guests.

There was no water offered in the room. Only option to get drinking water is the dispenser in the fitness room.

The breakfast was very nice. Location and facilities were good.

We were disappointed with how the damage deposit was applied. I understand the hotel taking the damage deposit and holding it until everything is checked out but because it was processed and then credited it back the next day, with the exchange rate and foreign currency bank fees, we were charged an extra 9 dollars with the exchange rate. Small amount yes, but it is still an extra charge which is not necessary. It should have just been held and not processed unless there was damage.

Had some issues with billing that the manager expected us to take care through our bank. We spent a couple of hours dealing with the issue with our bank which significantly effected our trip and the rest of the day as we had to wait for funds to be returned to our account before we were able to continue with our trip. We were essentially double charged and the manager would not take responsibility for it.

So beautiful peaceful looking out my room window across the freeway was Beauitful lake. Me and daughter share a room so nice. Breakfast was delicious scrabble eggs. Waffles , sausage patties, bagels, yogurts all flavor Juices .

Just wish wasn't raining . Toll road . If don't have fast track on car window you still have to pay online. Did not know going run into that. Other then that very peaceful

Breakfast was good. We had to leave very early in the morning and not everything was ready when we got there at 6 am. Location was good, about 4 miles away from the golf course. In fact it was the golf course that recommended your hotel. Two televisions was a wonderful idea. Nice size desk and view of the lake from our window. Very ironic that we found out the next day we had family members, who were also playing in the golf tournament , staying in the room right next to ours. We would love to stay at Ayers again, nut the cost makes it rough on us old folks on fixed incomes. Staff members were polite and helpful. Very nice.

The dull-ish bathroom light made it a little difficult to shave.

Classy, clean and comfortable hotel. The hot tub and heated pool were great! The breakfast was a nice bonus with enough choices to start our day with. Location was perfect for us - quiet neighborhood with plenty of great dining options nearby. Staff was always welcoming, helpful and professional. Room was big and comfortable.

Everything was great but if I could change anything, it would be that the breakfast didn’t stop at 9am and instead go until 10:00.

King room was spacious - I really liked how a partial wall separated the bed & fold out couch. Bedding was comfortable. It was nice having a microwave & fridge & counter space in the room.

The fitness room was small and felt messy. The breakfast area is very small - every time I went it was uncomfortably crowded. Buf the food selection was good. I hope these get updated.

I did not care for the breakfast. I do not like eggs from a carton. And bacon was only on the weekends. I also did not care for the weekend rate. But the weekday rate was great! The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The maid never remembered to leave coffee even if I left a note, so I usually had to hunt it down on a cart. Overall, I was satisfied.

The morning breakfast could’ve been better.

The customer service was the absolute best, being flexible with my schedule due to travel disruptions. And then the breakfast was exceptional with lots of good choices and caring staff. There was also easy access to the 241 toll road so we could get to where we needed to quickly.

There was just a couple issues with our room.

it was clean and quiet place

there was a kind of confusion between the price I got from booking with what hotel expected. they told me that they don’t have my confirmation number and their price was 50% more than booking. so we had to wait and talk with the guy and his manager for half an hour late night. finally they confirmed and gave us a room.
