SpringHill Suites by Marriott The Dunes On Monterey Bay

The complimentary breakfast was definitely the best hotel breakfast I've ever had. The rooms were very stylish and functional. It was also helpful having a mini convenience store in-house. Free parking always a plus.

Only complaints are that the mattresses weren't very comfortable and the pillows were a bit too small. If I'm being super critical, the shower seemed to be set up backwards with the faucet opposite the controls.

Quiet location, Double room is very roomy and clean. It also included a work desk, great for business use. I came here to take exam at Cal State and this hotel is less than 5 mins from it! Perfect location if you need to visit Cal State. Room also included breakfast with good choices and good quality.

Not a perfect location if you plan to visit Monterey. It's not close to downtown, roughly ~15 mins drive. The location is remote and not close to any big plaza.

The breakfast options were tasty and plentiful. Staff was accommodating. Room was comfortable. Convenient location for Monterey Bay and Santa Cruz events.

Stated 5 nights - would have liked more housekeeping service but maybe policy was “as requested” and we didn’t request it.

Courteous staff, neat and clean, quiet, free parking, free breakfast, close to CSUMB. The fire pits on the courtyard. Even the smoking dispenser outside were spotless. Full marks

That I wasn't told earlier that extending my stay for two days will be charged at different rate being Friday and Saturday. And 459, 509 Dollars respectively without tax is a bit too much compared to 369 $ that I booked for the first two days. No safe in the room to keep valuables. TV is at a weird position on the wall, hardly viewable. The glass doors in the centre console rattle when someone walks close to it.

Love da staff an how prompt all of my request was taken care of , I was there for hospital visit , a sad time to be in Monterey. But your area of hospitality made it very easy to cope with my situation, especially that I was alone . Thank you again , will be returning for da funeral an will ask for your help again , much ❤️

I liked the tv and pool it was very fun I also like gym. the breakfast was good too, the fireplace was warm and nice outside/pretty in the night. the bathroom was pretty clean and nice.

The water pressure in the shower is relatively weak,the drainage of the bathroom is slow,and the toilet door is difficult to close.

Beautiful views of the ocean and location was perfect.

Entrance to the property is confusing and not clearly marked. Lots of construction going on at the time.

clean property , good breakfast , easy parking and check in . Friendly and helpful staff .

We were asked to leave lobby at 10 pm, advertised as ocean view but the property is shopping mall view , and 15 min drive to Monterey .

The staff was very friendly. The complimentary breakfast was really good. Not like other locations that are sloppy and dirty with it.
