Holiday Inn Express & Suites Elk Grove West I-5

This appeared to be a fairly new property. In a safe location but near the freeway. The room was clean and spacious and the bathroom was very nice with good lighting and convenient shower amenities (pump shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel). The coffee area was great with small fridge, microwave. The Keurig coffeemaker was especially nice, but the selection of coffee was slim. You may want to bring your favorites with you.

The breakfast was adequate, but no waffle maker, no bananas, and NO BACON! The hot part was scrambled eggs and turkey sausage. This will do if your in a hurry, but doesn't start until 6:30am..

the beds where very comfortable and clean. the staff was friendly and helped with all the extra amenities that we requested. breakfast was still hot and tasted great. room was very clean and tidy and the cable worked in this room without freezing, stayed in a room last month and the TV would freeze every few seconds on every channel.

could not get the TV to change inputs. I had brought a Roku and couldn't get it to change to different HDMI input. also the pool was available for us to use during that stay. was at a concert all day and would have been nice to float in water for a few minutes.

The rooms were very clean. My family loved how spacious the room was. We were able to have the pull out couch out and a pack and play in there with a lot of room to walk around still.

Our AC was not working that great, so it was a little warm during the day.

It was convenient for where we needed to be close to. Overall, it was very comfortable and clean. Definitely would stay there again.

Housekeeping didn't replace used towels with new ones. When we got back to our room, we had no towels at all. Had to go to front desk to get towels. Not a huge deal. But was just a minor set back when all we wanted to do was take showers and get to sleep after our very long, emotional day.

the breakfast was so good!! I wanted to go back for more. A sofa bed was also there which took me by surprised because it wasn't mentioned, super glad it came with it though! Staff was very friendly!

It smelled like cigarettes on my floor even though it said no-smoking :(( Also the elevator looked a bit dated but its alright.

The bed was comfortable. The room was very clean. It made for a fairly enjoyable stay after my wife and I left our friend's wedding.

Just about every app that I searched on stated that the property's check out time was 1200pm . When I arrived at the property, I was displeased to learn that the property's actual check out time was 1100am. When I brought this to the attention of the front desk employee, I did not even get an apology for this discrepancy! The reason I chose this property was that the check out time was 1200. Also, over 200 dollars for a night and I can't even get more than 40 channels??? This is just cheap! If there was a hotel that advertised that it was offering hundreds of channels, including premium and pay per view channels, I would gladly PAY MORE!

The room was spotless and it looked newly remodeled. The bed was really comfortable and the linens were clean and not stained. The bathroom was gorgeous and everything looked exactly like the photos on the listing. The hotel staff was also very friendly and helpful. There was ample parking, and the area felt very safe for a solo female traveler.

Great location off the freeway with access to food just across the road. Very quiet location. VERY clean and well maintained. Breakfast was excellent!

Their card reader was being stubborn so check in was a bit long. The hot tub was cold water and we were looking forward to using it.

Would rather not have a handicap room. Some of the accommodations make it harder for a tall person (like the height of the shower head).

We stayed at room 124 on the first floor which was very convenient for getting things from our car. Room had 2 queen beds and a sofa bed and was very large for 3 adults and 2 teenagers. There was a little coffee area with microwave where we cooked. Beds were very comfortable and clean. We had a good sleep, it was quiet and dark enough. Breakfast was ok with cheese omlet, oat, sausages etc.

When we opened the sofa bed we saw some little socks or a baby were left there, which meant it was not cleaned. But the bed it self was clean.
