Westward Inn

Very Clean. Usually with motels, I expect there to be a "permissible" level of filth and this place was very clearn.

The ice machine was outside.

When you get a good price for a room, you always wonder, will it be subpar. But the room was clean and nice and it had all the amenities I needed without any extra charges. Check in was quick and efficient. There was parking right by my room which made unloading and loading very easy. There was a big TV in the room with a great selection of channels. The bed and pillows were comfy and there were plenty of towels.

The fan on the heater/AC unit was pretty loud and kept me up for a bit as it cycled on and off. The inn is also on a main road so there is some traffic noise, but it’s not bad.

Easy check in, lots of parking in front of room, very friendly and helpful staff. Easy access to stores, restaurants, and highway. Snacks available in the morning. Beds were comfortable.

Walls very thin so you hear everything next door. Bed sheets are old so they're stained and the soft blanket is.. crusty. The room smelled of smoke though all rooms are supposed to be smoke free. One bed smelled cleaned but the other bed comforter smelled of smoke. Front desk changed it immediately which was nice, but the new one smelled of wet dog. My son got a good laugh at me. So i removed the duvet of the smoke one and it was mostly ok. Highway noise is loud all night but we sleep with white noise so we didn't notice it.

Large room with table in large single level motel. Hot water was quick to the faucet and plenty hot. Refrigerator was larger size than normal. Room was clean. Plenty of parking right outside door. I was told up front that room service was by request by placing a "Service Room" sign on outside door handle. That worked great for me. They had free small snack bars available for a morning pick-me-up in the office as one needed to supply ones own breakfast.

The driveway in/out was a little close to the traffic light for my confort (but where it must be for how the property is set up).

I love that all of the rooms are on the ground floor and there are parking spaces directly in front of the rooms. The beds are comfy and the television is a good size for the room. The heating/cooling unit is great and I like to be able to set it to my preference and feel the difference immediately.

I would have liked more options for breakfast, but the room makes up for that with a microwave and refrigerator to store and prepare something for myself in the morning.

The staff is the best I've had the pleasure to stay.. this quiet, clean rooms comfy beds establishment is all about Hospitality..very nice. Great prices no hassle loven it... Wish I had more $$ to stay the whole month. I'm looking for a apartment or house to rent so it's great to find a place to stay even for a week.... Until next month or cross my fingers I find a place to live and stay here for leisure would be awesome..

Just the location & needs sum pancakes waffles or eggs bacon for a great breakfast would be the perfect...

We were delayed because of a fire and rock slide east of Crescent City on 199. They closed the highway. Had to change route adding 5 hours to out trip. when we got to hotel, they had our room & key ready for us. Wasn’t in the office but a couple minutes. That was nice since we we’re exhausted.

Breakfast was breakfast bars and coffee. Not much there.

Front desk was very friendly and helpful, well lit open parking, the room was VERY clean, the bed (king) was comfortable. Plenty of pillows, it was a bigger room we didn't feel cramped. They offer a simple breakfast of store bought goodies, oatmeal, coffee. Close to town and beaches.

The shower could have had a little more water pressure but it wasn't a deal breaker. The light in the toilet/shower area was WAY to bright.. lol

Fits my 3C criteria. Clean, comfortable, and convenient. Perfect for senior citizens where you can just back your rig up to the door and offload you necessities for the night. No lugging your bags through a lobby, getting into an elevator, and walking down a long hallway.

Located on the 101 so it was easy to find and lots of places to eat around.

Crescent City doesn’t have extensive facilities, but this hotel is centrally located and in a great position to enjoy the Redwood forests. The motel is undergoing a rolling program of renovations, but our ‘old’ room was still fine. Daniel on reception was lovely. He collects foreign coins so he will love it if you bring loose change from your travels
