Tally Ho Inn

Location, location, location! This place is a few steps away from the main shopping and eating area. You are about 3 blocks away from the beach and everything is super walk-able.

The noise that was being made by the staff which we then observed was not nice. Loud talking and making noise with the vacuum and dirty linen sacks before 8am was unacceptable by us. The single pane windows don't help either but it is waht it is.

Location was fine for Restaurant next door but short staffed at breakfast and dinner but food was very good. Atmosphere was also good. So convenient!

More wait staff for restaurant and if there were breakfast items available from Front Desk/ Lobby I would have like to be offered some as there was fruit and coffee but no cereal or yogurt offered. One lady was given some cereal. When asking for a teapot, we were immediately accommodated.

Truly outstanding room in a wonderful location. The room was very large with extremely comfortable furnishings and a nice ocean view. Just a couple of blocks from the beach and one short block from Ocean avenue. Ample parking in an underground garage and a very nice breakfast at the Pine Inn across the street.

Can't think of anything that wasn't excellent. Just a wonderful boutique hotel that was a joy to stay in.

Location was excellent easy walking distances to dining wine tasting and the beach. Our room was large comfortable and well set up. On-site parking was convenient and a time saver. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. When we had an issue (see below) they fixed it immediately above our expectation.

The carpets were very dirty and looked stained. I notified the front desk in the morning before we went out for the day. When we returned in the later afternoon the carpet was spotless and dry!

The location is great - within easy walking distance to restaurants, shops, and galleries but also close to the beach. They provided a nice breakfast daily. The room was spacious, well-appointed, and it had a great view. Free parking was also provided.

The carpet in our room was quite stained- the room itself was clean but the carpet was unsightly. The wi-fi was spotty in our room. It was also a pretty pricey but it seems all hotels are more expensive now that things are opening up more.

We were in a very pretty and spacious room with a king bed, fireplace, whirlpool tub and deck.

The Wi-Fi was very sketchy. We continually dropped off and had trouble connecting. It also took a long time for them to make up the room on our second day.

we appreciated the friendly hospitality when we were greeted. The room was clean and had a beautiful view. It was within walking distance of everything! I liked the way they walked us to the room and explained all the stuff available to us.

loved it all. They seem to show lots of effort to offer extras like the “happy hour” where you can lounge by the outside fire.

It was ok. Prefer to be served at a table. Food was just ok.

Hours of staff. Closed early and opened later. We left early one morning and had to deal with our own luggage. If we were on the first floor maybe nota problem but we were upstairs and we are seniors so made it more challenging p. For the price we paid I would have expected a little more service.

Perfect location, spacious elegant and extremely comfortable rooms, lots of places to sit outside -- one next to an outdoor fireplace, another to take in ocean view, fireplaces keep rooms warm and cozy, and staff goes way out of their way to accommodate your needs.

Breakfast was fair.

Great location. Very comfortable bed and linens. Large room with a nice private deck and comfortable seating . Deck had pretty view of coastline and ocean which many places dont have in Carmel. Easy free parking lot underground.
