Katie's Cozy Cabins

Great location. Walking distance to downtown Tombstone. We even saw a deer on the walk downtown. We took the grandkids to Tombstone to experience the area. They loved the loft and the bunk beds. The picnic area was also a great place to sit and enjoy. We didn't notice the horseshoe game until we were ready to leave, but that was fun to play. My favorite part was the porch swing. I could have sat in that all day and just swung. Recommend for a family of 4, loft upstairs is where us two adults stayed. Hard to dress, etc up there, so had to do that in the bathroom. Didn't take my suitcase up the ladder. Bunk room comfortably held both grandkids, they loved it! The AC unit quickly cooled the place, except for upstairs. I do wish the loft window was able to open, as I would have let some of the hot air out at night. Overall we had a great time!

The only think I can think of is that it is hard to dress in the loft, but that is to be expected. The AC unit didn't really get to the loft as all the hot air rises. We were able to use a fan from downstairs to aim at the loft, that helped a bit.

The cabin is a short walk to the Main Street of Tombstone, the beds were comfortable, including the futon. The cabin was spacious and the porch was fun to sit on the swing. Once the sun was down and before the sun was up the air conditioner was able to keep the room cool and we slept well. It was nice to have a full sized refrigerator, there was a small stove and kitchen items. The DVDs they provided were much appreciated!

Next time we will not come in the summer, the air conditioner was not able to keep up with the extreme heat outside, even with the fans provided it was still very warm in the cabin. Once the sun was down it did cool down to a comfortable temperature and we did sleep well. I could have reached out about the wifi not working, but I was not so worried about it and the DVDs helped and we enjoyed watching the westerns.

The cabins were definitely cozy as it got later in the night and the temp decided to drop. It's stayed nice and warm. It's literally inline with Allen Street which is perfect if you wanted to visit the town there. The people of the town are friendly and warm. So much history. Also the food is great. Parking was easy enough. Your cabin gets its own spot. And if you ventured into there is parking on the side streets unless otherwise post they do have two lots to park in. Everything is a pretty close walk and if you buy tickets to any of the shows hood on to them. Some restaurants and bars will give u discounts on food or giftshops with them. Don't be afraid to talk to people as they're all friendly. I can go on and on but go discover some on your own. Each stay is unique. Also deer roam the area there. If your lucky like we were we got to see them up close enough to feed.

What I didn't like is I don't have anything I don't like about the place. It's quiet and was just what I needed. Well worth the 9hrs driving.

This is the kind of place I can imagine living in full time -- though for that, it would require a couple more appliances. Great location very close to the old town and main attractions in Tombstone. Private/ reserved parking in this area is s definite plus! Loved stepping out the front door to find a deer snacking on the yard.

Only one problem: the Roku kept glitching out to the "home" menu screen, and we had to return several times to Netflix to continue watching our movie. Not sure if the problem was in the Roku or the wiring/wifi connection or what, but have never experienced such at home or on the road before.

This property is FABOULOUS & my 3rd visit! Which is now owned & ran by Regina. She is on top of everything, extremely nice & very accommodating! ALWAYS answers her phone if & when needed! The property itself is immaculate!! Couldn't ask for better!!!!!! There are 4 COZY cabins, can sleep up to 6 people. So if your looking for a CLEAN, BEATIFUL, QUITE location & can watch the deer walking around very freely all hours of the day or night (like they own the place LOL) & is walking distance to ALL the action on the streets of downtown Tombstone! This where you want to stay!!!

Wish I had the time to stay longer!!

This Cabin is in the perfect location. We were in walking distance from all the local attractions, but far enough away to still enjoy a quiet evening on the front porch swing. The little park next to the cabins has horseshoes, picnic tables and cute lights that automatically turn on when it gets dark. The kitchen setup allowed us to cook our own breakfast while getting ready for the day. Free WiFi that worked great. Several streaming service for TV. They also have a DVD player with a collection of western movies that fit the theme perfectly. The bed was very comfortable!!! It was only my husband and I so we only used one of the beds downstairs. They have a full bed upstairs and a twin bunk downstairs in the room we slept it. Regina was awesome!!!! She responded to me quickly to answer any questions we had and even had our cabin ready for check in earlier than expected.

We liked everything!!!!!

Exceeded expectations. Had everything I needed and more. I didn't expect to have all the digital amenities like Roku and Hulu. Air conditioning easy to adjust and comfortable. Instructions were clear and well placed about how to use digital devices. Comfortable bed. Space was well used and so organized plus very attractive. These cabins could easily be a model of how to optimize space in a small footprint cabin. Should be featured on TV. Little park next door was a bonus. Location was easy walking distance to downtown attractions. I was there for just a short time, but will be coming back with family.

Wish check out was later and had more lighting in living area. Would be a nice extra to have a "tourist" map for each new customer and indication of operating hours for stores, restaurants and attractions. All minor items. Overall experience was great!

This was a wonderful place to stay during our visit to tombstone.

The shower curtain liner needs to be replaced. Therefore, did not use the shower. Upon use of the microwave, we found it dirty inside. The ceiling fan blades need a good cleaning. The dust bunnies on the fire alarm along with the beam the fire alarm is attached to needs a good vacuuming. The porch. which is so enjoyable to sit on, could also use a cleaning. This is just my OCD, we had cabins similar to these in Alaska and we prided ourselves on their cleanliness.

We really loved our stay at Katie's Cozy Cabins. It was only my husband and I but the place was big. Could easily sleep 6 comfortably. The cabin was clean, and it was chilly when we were there so the fireplace was a nice touch. The best part was that about 12 deer were right in our front yard!! It was beautiful!! We would stay there again.

Coffee pot and TV. Coffee was cold, and tv kept shutting off.

It was a nice cabin with assigned parking spots. Close to what Tombstone has to offer. We purchased some dried corn kernels (50lbs) for the deer in the area. My daughter was amazed that the deer came so close to the cabins and enjoyed the corn we put out for them. If we return to Tombstone we will stay here again.
