Holiday Inn Express Show Low, an IHG Hotel

I made my reservations through an online app. It somehow booked be twice. The gentleman at the desk canceled one of the reservations with no issue at all. Very thankful for him making it easy on my end. The room was clean and comfortable. All of the staff I interacted with were kind and helpful. The breakfast was hot, fresh, and delicious.

I have no complaints about our stay. Everything about the hotel and our stay was on point.

The breakfast was okay - there was a selection, fruit, oatmeal, eggs, etc., but some of the items were warmed up and not that fresh - example: turkey sausage. Gravy for biscuits was very good, but the biscuits were not. The location is good and there are several restaurants nearby.

There was a single serve Keurig in the room - which is good, but there is only 1 medium and 1 decaf pod, with very old style cellophane pack with sugar and dry cream. We had a room with 2 queen beds - technically could be 4 people in the room .. so 2 don't get coffee. I know this doesn't sound like a big deal, but it kind of is... why offer something if you are going to do it in such a mediocre way.

We love your hotel. It meets our families needs every time.

You have a new employee that is absolutely RUDE. At check out yesterday she was extremely unfriendly and irritated she had to work. I know it was 5am but I had to get back to work to run my cafe. I didn’t want to work either. I’m pretty sure the next day (tonight) when I booked for this weekend, it was the same girl. Her name is Kye?... She does not do anything to make your residents feel their business is appreciated by any means. Someone has definitely peed in her Cheerios. For real. The 2 girls we normally see are so friendly and kind. They know we come pretty often. I’m just letting you know as we are not happy. We will still continue to book at holiday in express Showlow but good lord!!!! If you don’t like your job you need to find another. My job here is done. See you Sunday.

comfort rooms except for the mosey air conditioner and the very loud plumbing noise when adjacent rooms took a shower at 2am. also hotel would not honor my points membership because I booked through you

the room was clean & roomy. not cramped at all. in some hotels you have to walk sideways between the bottom of the bed and the dresser. loved the breakfast options ( started a diet a little bit ago and was able to eat healthy). I ate the oatmeal (delish) the brown sugar was hard but I just used a knife to loosen it up.

Loved the outside chairs provided to enjoy the pines. Sky walk is cool connecting the buildings. Loved 24 hour pool area. Hot breakfast was the best I have seen!

Hallway carpet in hall way on 3rd floor needs replacing.

I was pleasantly surprised by the efforts made to keep the visitors safe. The complimentary breakfast included many item that were wrapped or sealed separately such as bagels and other pastries. Even the plastic cups were wrapped individually. If you wanted something off the menu that was not in the dining area, all you had to do was ask and it was made to order. Next time in Show Low I will definitely stay here.

Needed a room for the night so that we could visit our daughter. The room more than exceeded my expectations as it had a nice big tub and I am a bath taker. This hardly EVER happens when we are traveling so I took myself a nice LONG tubby AND turned on the jacuzzi jets for relaxation. FANTASTIC for soothing my holiday bones!!

I was charged under $200 through the booking website, and the hotel charged me over $200 which I feel isn’t right.

Being over charged separately. That’s not a fair thing to do to people.

Breakfast was okay. Good selection. Friendly kitchen staff. Juice machine was broken.

Fireplace flame set too low. No ice machines on any room floors. Only one in lobby.
