Everything was great. No complaints. Service, facility, faculty, location, Everything was top notch.

Nothing wasn't likable... about the motel or staff. Weather was nice when we arrived.. and turned out to be rainy and cool by time we were leaving..but all and all was great stay for us.

Our vacation was perfect because the Day Manager, Stormy, was the person I contacted for Pre Check-in, and then ACTUAL Check-in, and was obviously well trained and prepared to answer every question to our utmost satisfaction. All rooms face the Gulf, with the best views being higher than the 3rd floor. Stormy fulfilled our every desire for the type room and accomodations we requested. Stormy greeted us with a welcoming smile and cheerful attitude, and had us headed up to our room in a snap, with warm cookies! Stormy also had us checked out and on our way home in seconds. If Stormy is an example of how Doubletree selects and trains their personnel, we will continue to choose DoubleTree as our Hotel of choice. Sincerely, Dennis, Sherry, and Juliet

When sitting on the balcony in the provided chairs, the top of the balcony rail obstructs your view, so bring a really thick seat cushion.

Updated bathrooms. Housekeeping was exceptional. Every time we came in there were people cleaning. The place had a beautiful tropical smell. Rooms were very clean and everything worked. Comfortable beds. The front desk staff were happy and friendly. This location is steps from the beach and close to everything. It was quiet. They had live music some nights. Parking was semi- private. Anything you needed they provided same day or immediately. Kept room stocked with bottled waters and the balcony was clean. Highly recommend. Bar drinks were very expensive, too expensive. A small salad was $12 (grocery store container) to include breakfast it was $15 per person per day and was definitely not worth it. The tea from the starbucks in the lobby was a mix, not fresh. Pool needed to be cleaned. It was clear but had slime around the edges and lots of matter in the water. Beach chairs and umbrella rental was $40 a day. They were free for guests at our last resort. Take your own shampoo and body wash: theirs is high quality -Crabtree & evelyn- but smells like a wood burning stove.

Gorgeous unobstructed view of beautiful water and amazing white sand beach. Wonderful to sit on the balcony and enjoy the view and listening to the waves. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Walk in shower with the best water pressure I've ever experienced at a hotel. Very nice towels. Bathroom was clean; big mirror; brightly lit. Shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and lotion all provided. Microwave and refrigerator in the room. Didn't use the pool, but it appeared to be very nice. Didn't take advantage of it, but there were frozen pizzas etc in the cooler by Starbucks. Would be nice if someone wanted to get one to microwave in the room for lunch rather than leaving the beach for a meal.

Difficult to catch anyone working in the restaurant; the food was ok but somewhat pricey. $60 for a chef salad, burger, fries and a drink. Refrigerator in the room didn't keep water & sodas cold, only cool. Neighbors next door with SCREAMING kids, so very little sleep. Boardwalk to get to the beach was a little short, so it was quite a slog through the sand to get down to the beach.

Great location! Staff was friendly and nice, hotel was clean and safe. Gulf view was amazing. You could walk most places, others were just a short drive.

The beach is right outside. Great location! Awesome view from hotel room of the Gulf and you can actually sit on the balcony. All rooms have balconies. Great pool, also. You are also offered delicious cookies. Yummy!!

They do not have exhaust fans in the bathrooms. The bathroom gets really hot when you shower with the door shut and no exhaust fan. Take a can of Febreze for your bathroom if traveling with family/friends.

Customer Service was GREAT !! The Hotel was very attractive, clean and most accomdating to all our needs. The balcony was a plus and all rooms faced the beautiful beach and ocean. The breakfast was delicious and the service was fabulous. The location was perfect and we did not have to travel far to eat at nice resturants . We have decided we will ALWAYS stay at the IslandHouse Hilton Hotel and never look any further. BTW, the pool was MOST relaxing and large enough to really enjoy swimming. We certainly rate you a 10plus !!!

Having a Continental Breakfast would be a nice offer, but having to pay was just fine.

amenities were great. staff even helped me dress a wound and gave me medical bandages to get me through the day. friendly food service folks. they made my 3 year old feel special every chance they got! love it!!

I was leaving to go to beach when maids knocked and I specially told them please come in I’m leaving and we definitely need a cleaning and more towels. they said they would come back after we left and never did. room was dirty and no towels for night 2. Women’s bathroom at pool was stopped up and needed plunged. No repair even after staff was notified multiple times. afternoon food/drink service was slow probably due to low staffed bar. toddler pool could have used a little shade.

The location was absolutely perfect . The view was amazing and the beach there was never too crowded which is a huge plus . So nice being a little ways from gulf shores and not having to deal with all of the traffic and congestion.

We had an issue with our bathroom door not shutting and getting stuck and our fridge didn’t really work. The beds were also not very comfortable but not the worst we have ever slept on either .

The location was great. Clean rooms, clean linens.

We booked a stay with breakfast included, however, when we got downstairs to order our breakfast the first morning ,there was a menu with prices. We were charged for breakfast. We then decided to go out for breakfast the rest of the week. When our last day came, the front desk said we should have gotten vouchers for breakfast. Cost us over $100 that should have been included
