The Christopher Hotel, Eton

everything about this hotel was amazing . The location is excellent and a 4 min walk into Windsor . Lovely bars and restaurant near by . The rooms were perfect with lovely bed and pillows . The staff were all so friendly with a lovely young lad who checked us in and a lovely lady Wendy who served us our evening drinks . Lovely touch of a complimentary drink on arrival . Breakfast was lovely with lots of choices . We will definitely be back .

In a great position to wander around Eton and across to Windsor,very friendly and knowledgeable staff,beautiful clean and very well modernised room,also excellent breakfast perfect eggs benedict and plenty of other options.

Absolutely nothing,lovely old restored building

wow upon checking in the lady at reception was so welcoming. she was friendly and professional both ladies at reception was helpful they made my stay comfortable

love the room. the bed was so comfortable nice comfy sheets loved the breakfast the waitress was also very helpful

Classy room decor, cosy and warm, updated bathroom facilities. Breakfast was delicious and staff was really lovely and accomodating to our requests - especially as we travelled far and checked in quite late for our night stay so this was really appreciated.

Not much flaws from what I can tell as we only stayed for one night. We did request for a room on the ground floor (due to bags from an intl travel) but ended up with a few flights of stairs. This isnt much of an issue for us as the room was super lovely and had a great view of the city - but for people with mobility issues/lots of luggage you may want to double check!

Great location and very comfortable. Charlie at reception went out of his way to ensure we had a great stay.

The size of the room was extraordinary - nice seating area, big dining table in addition to the large desk with a coffee maker, that saved me more than once. The bed was very comfy, the shower modern and spacious, the heating worked perfectly and even the windows to the main street were not a problem at all. The house is old, but well maintained with a lot of character and the people working here create a wonderful atmosphere. They know how hospitality works and I hope, I'll have the chance to stay again with you one day. Thank you!

a little space to put the luggage away nicely would be helpful

Great location. Although on High Street with plenty of restaurants and bars within 1 minute walk and a short walk over the river to Windsor castle and Windsor shops, the hotel and surrounds were lovely and quiet. Felt very private. Staff are awesome, very friendly and very helpful. Breakfast is supplied, with a great choice of cooked options as well as cereal, pastries, yoghurt and juice. Bed and pillows were comfortable, nice crisp white linen and large fluffy towels. Great selection of teas, coffee, hot chocolate, water bottles and cookies also provided. Rooms are cleaned each day with towels and tea/water etc replaced. Would highly recommend staying here.

Couldn't open safe and staff said they were waiting for someone to come and fix. It wasn't fixed while we were there, so couldn't use the safe. No hairdryer in room although when booking was listed as included.

The room was very clean, confortable and big bed, nice pillows (with pillow protectors), fresh bedding, the bathroom nice size and very nice shower. Water, nice cookies, coffee and tea facilities. The location was great many places where to eat, we loved the Italian and Burguer restaurants just a few minuts away, a few minunuts more is Windsor Castle and the High Street, restaurants, cafes shops. There is also a parking space at the hotel. The breakfast a lot of choices before order the one on the menu, everything very nice cooked and presented. The satff..I can not thank you enough, nothing was a problem always smiling, helpful, efficiency, profesional and ready to help all the time, my husband is receiving palleative care so this trip was different, Thank you very much to Christoper Hotel Team for made this stay especial.

Amazing 'Hidden Gem' The layout of the rooms in chalet bungalows is amazing, as somebody who is walking disabled, this is a real plus, because you can park outside your room with easy access. The character of the hotel is amazing with lots of original features. The rooms are comfortable, well appointed and clean and the beds are really comfy with good quality linin and feather pillows. Breakfast was amazing and good quality products, you could tell quality had not been skimped on with a real meaty sausage and golden eggs. The staff were great, warm and welcoming, and always on hand if needed. I was travelling for business but would definitely consider this hotel for a leisure trip as well. Great value for money.

These few minor points were only because i was travelling alone and bored, so you notice a few more things, but they didn't spoil my stay in any way. The hand (body wash) dispensers in the shower could do with a deep clean, or switch to individual shower gels etc as some other hotels do, I know this is a cost saving as well as reducing plastic waste, but if you are going to use these, they need to be kept clean and fresh for every guest. There is no onsite dining, other than breakfast, but as there are many local eating venues to chose from, right outside your door, that was probably better, because it made me go and explore. A little dusty in places, where a deep clean would help.

The staff were very welcoming, friendly and accommodating. The entire place was spotless. We had a cottage room out back right beside the parking lot. It was quiet and the beds were very comfortable. There was a single bed put up for our toddler and the room was still large. I loved the drinks options in the room. Really makes a difference not to have Nescafé sachets and an actual coffee bag! Plus, herbal teas, hot chocolate and bottles of water too. We were also given complimentary drinks at the bar which was a really nice touch. The breakfast was delicious and was great to have different freshly cooked options. Unfortunately they were short staffed so we had to wait a very long time for the cooked part but the staff were very apologetic and waived the car park fee for our trouble without us even having to ask for compensation - that was really appreciated.
