I like the room size and the bathroom facilities; the cleaning staff were great. When asked for help, all staff were accommodating; in particularly, I liked the staff providing the shuttle car service and the cleaning. The Pad restaurant staff were polite.

Some of the restaurants were pricey; I would have appreciated more gluten-free options (though, I appreciate this can be a little niche). The hotel location is good for isolation, but there wasn't a lot to do outside of the resort. Newport is a good location for travel to other cities e.g. Cardiff. It did feel like some of the restaurant staff need a bit more training

I loved the way that every staff member went over and beyond to make me feel welcome. They are also really proud of the hotel and wiling to tell you about the history of the building and how it has been transformed. I got a ride evry day across the golf course to the place where I was working with their hotel shuttle bus so got to know the drivers really well too. The facilities are excellent (gym, sauna, pools and restaurants) and I'm just a bit gutted that I didn't have time to sample all of it. I will definitely come back for leisure instead of a work stay.

There is nothing at all that I'd change. I was very happy here, and I love the fact that you can wander through both hotels without leaving the premises.

Staff and food were exceptional. Gorgeous old property. Lovely pool area in Forum.

Needs works in Manor House rooms. Tatty for the price. Stains on wallpaper, lack of plug sockets and no usb ones fitted. Old bathroom fittings. one van driver was awkward not picking up a disabled guest from outside Manor House instead making them walk down steps to his van on the road. He said he couldn’t get his van in. Something a later driver said was untrue as they drove in and dropped us to the door. Not very up with disability and food intolerance needs.

Amazing grounds. Plenty of facilities. We did the adventure golf & the pool: both great. Most of the hotel is very grand and it is massive. Plenty of staff about, most of whom were very helpful. Lots of restaurant options and entertainment in the hotel to keep visitors occupied.

Parking is £8.50 overnight. Drop-off carpark is £20 per 15mins after first 15mins. It is also difficult to find the way about. I had no idea we had to go through the main hotel to reach the Manor. There is also no disabled access to the Manor as you need to descend one floor by stairs. Massive empty corridors with security cameras gives a Pyongyang hotel or Bond villain lair vibe in places. Restaurants are a bit expensive, but the cheapest (the grill) is little more so than regular restaurants. Many lockers in the pool changing room are broken, no private changing areas. Lot of long walks/lift waits to get about and memorising routes.

Central location, views and facilities available. Majority of staff very helpful and accommodating

Level of service was patchy. Waited 45mins for a drinks order. Fabric of the building was worn and dirty in places. Too many facilities were out of order or needed a deep clean. For example carpet in our room had a whole in it. This was hidden by a chair… The radiator had exposed wiring. Reception informed and no-one from maintenance repaired this dangerous fault during our 2 day stay.

Absolutely fantastic stay! Staff were incredible from the reception staff on arrival to the resturant staff at dinner time and at breakfast in the morning. The bed in the room was the most comfiest bed that i've ever slept it. The pool was beautiful during my night time swim session with the led lights through out and the lit ceiling, it was definatley the most relaxing night that I needed.

The only slight issue was the shower in the room. It wasnt very powerful and it took me twice aslong to shower due to the water coming out slow.

The Manor House was amazing from start to finish, the lady on reception when we arrived was lovely and allowed us to drop our bags to the room before moving the car to the outdoors car park, the walkway linked to the main resort only took a few minutes and we in the forum health club, the pool and jacuzzi were amazing, beds so comfy, clean with all amenities required, we had room service and I have to say the steak was the best I've ever had! Also breakfast in the pad restaurant was amazing, would definitely recommend this hotel more than the main resort which I have stayed in a few times, the Manor is quieter and more relaxing in my opinion. Can't wait to go back.

convenience for where i was working ...... The breakfast was very good with plenty of choice and everything cooked fresh, the staff were very attentive and polite and the hotel was a very high standard in cleanliness

The guest restaurant was being used for a private function and could not be used, and there was no prior warning regarding this so i have to have room service, which was not what i wanted really. I was informed of the Golf course restaurant which was a bud ride away, but i declined that

We loved being back at the Celtic for our wedding anniversary. We had afternoon tea in the garden Room, although I feel this isn't worth the money to be truthful. We had a voucher so didn't mind as much. The grill for evening meal and loved it. We used both pools forum and Dylan's.

Very much dislike the pool booking system and the fact you are staying in a five star hotel and only allowed to use the pool 2x45 minute slots. We were also thinking of pricing coming as a family but the pricing of the activities as well are really extortionate unfortunately. I was so shocked that all bounced out was £16.50 per person for only 45 minutes. Awful! And that's just one thing to do with the kids. It's a stame as we absolutely love the hotel but definitely out prices us for a family stay.

The staff were exceptional 👏 Each one we spoke to was friendly, welcoming, and down to earth. The bedroom was comfortable and even had a mini fridge. A robe and slippers were provided. The choice of restaurant was fantastic .The breakfast was excellent.

The pool was very busy and quite echoey and noisy, not that relaxing. No drinking water at poolside, only in changing rooms. Lockers were very difficult to lock,we had to ask for help .
