The Netley0

The welcome we had from both Dave, Marie and of course Dougie was brilliant. Really made to feel at home straight away and The Netley was an ideal location to the main town & attractions. The Netley was cleaned & tidied daily and the kid loved their daily hot chocolate, biscuits and squash!! Overall it was fantastic. Breakfast was perfect and a great selection and was always on time & presented with a smile. There was nothing that was a chore for either Dave or Marie throughout our whole stay.

I had a wonderful time and felt very welcomed. Dave was kind enough to send me a couple of text messages before my trip letting me know about booking restaurants beforehand and they were getting booked up and also to let me know himself and Marie were looking forward to meeting me. That was nice. Dave even contacted me when I was onroute asking if I would like a lift from the station to avoid having to pay for a taxi to the b&b. That was very considerate and they also met me at the station with my suitcase when I left so I could enjoy my last moments on the beachfront before leaving. They were wonderful hosts making sure everything was ok. The breakfast options were really good and my breakfast was delicious and kept me full for most of the day. As a solo traveller I really appreciated their genuine interest and friendly approach. They upgraded my room from a single to a double as it was more roomy and was available. It was definitely a home from home, the room was comfortable and there was so much attention to detail. It was clean and well decorated. I felt very at home. They even provided a mini fridge for guests to use on the landing along with iron board and iron and wine glasses.

The wifi was free but not great, thats my only niggle also my 3 network was very poor in the area too, which wasnt their fault. In this case the wifi helped but kicked me out several times so that could be one thing to improve if it were possible. I forgot to mention this to them both so am not sure if they are aware of the quality of the wifi.

Absolutely loved this b and b. Very clean and tidy. Our family room was absolutely amazing. Separate area with bunk beds. Bean bags and there own bathroom. My daughter loved her own space. The owners were just so lovely and kind. Breakfast every morning was spot on. Very good selection to choose from, highly with out a doubt recommended this b and b. Not far from shops and the beach

Dave and Marie are exceptional hosts. they are so helpful and kind. you really feel like you are at your home comfort. we had a family room, separated by an internal door, the girls loved it too much. they serve beautiful breakfasts with good choices. The location of the B&B is also exceptional, just a 10-minute walk to everything you would like to see in the city center.

Everything was amazing. The owners were very nice and happy to help with anything. Good chat every morning. Breakfast was perfect cooked. Every day, they left biscuits and juice in the room. My son enjoyed that.The smell in all the buildings is amazing .Perfect holiday for my family and we can't wait to come back. Thank you, Dave and Marie .

Our hosts Dave and Marie were really attentive and hospitable. Dave reached out a couple of days prior to our trip to check for any dietary requirements and during our stay we were served the type of breakfast we requested. The property had a nice homely feel to it and its location worked really well for us.

During the first night the room was a bit cold as the heating was not on but this was addressed swiftly the next day. Also, the en-suite was on the small side but it was alright for a few nights stay.

Breakfast was excellent. The room was very clean and bright. Dave and Marie were very friendly and great hosts. The location was within walking distance of the town centre.

The only thing about the room which we would mark down was the small size of our bathroom. Everything else was excellent.

Hosts Dave and Marie were lovely and very friendly. Our room was very clean with an extremely comfy bed. A wide selectoon of food for breakfast and the full english was cooked to perfection especially the poached eggs.

Not the end of the world,but having to regularly sign in to connect to the Internet.

The property and the room were very well kept, very clean and inviting. Breakfast was great and we had everything we asked for.

The room was very small and we didn’t like to have our sink fitted in the room rather than en-suite. We also didn’t like the fact that there is the rule that doesn’t let to eat in the room as to eat on the terrace is not always an option due to cold or even rainy days.
