Lincombe Hall Hotel & Spa - Just for Adults

All staff were very attentive, nothing was too much trouble,very polite and always smiling.I have to mention Ade and Dave who worked the bar who interacted with us as a group were friendly , laughed with us and still very proffesional.The spa was amazing ive never felt so relaxed and the food in the Brasserie was out of this world . Some of us have already booked to come back in february .

My husband and I sent his Aunt and Uncle on a mini vacation at the hotel and they loved everything about their stay at the Lincombe Hotel. They were very pleased with the accommodations and felt the staff went above and beyond to assist them. They would definitely recommend this hotel.

The staff and accommodations are so well organized there is not much you can complain about. According to our aunt and uncle, the hotel was very impressive and there was not anything they saw that needed to change.

Incredible time away. Me and my girlfriend were greeted well from the start and we’re made to feel welcome throughout. We dined in the evening and were served exceptionally well by Ade, and were always spoken to with such positivity and made to feel part of the hotel by David who also served our drinks. The pool, spa and overall service were a 10/10. We couldn’t get enough of the spa!! The location is great, with a short walk into town. Our taxi from the train station to the hotel only cost us a few quid. It was something we didn’t know we needed so much, and will definitely be returning too in the future.

Stayed down in the annexe. Close to the SPA. Was lovely. Spa wasn't packed, but we did arrive on a Tuesday for 4 nights. Access to everything in the SPA for the duration of stay, including all the rooms. Outdoor pool (not huge) was lovely and warm. It was a short walk down the hill to the Quay. We enjoyed the mahara Bharat Indian and the Thai over the road. Perfect get away if the weather is uncertain as you have the SPA to go in

Not really a complaint....The annexe entrance next to our room was heavy and was a rude awakening, jolting you awake from as early as 7am with inconsiderate door slammers. Can't fault the hotel for that though. If you're a light sleeper then 31 and 32 aren't going to be the best for you.

Exceptional breakfast variety. Great service and delicious menu. The hotel is cosy and has beautiful decor throughout, as well as a stunning, luxurious spa. The pool area and changing rooms are exceptionally clean and I was extremely impressed by the Dyson hairdryer's and GHD hair straighteners available to use after showering. Highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing get away!

Everything about out stay was wonderful. The only thing I would say the hotel can improve on is updating the 'classic' and 'cosy' rooms as they seem a little more dated in comparison to the rest of hotel's theme. The floorboards in our room and outside the room were very creaky, but this did not effect our overall review. We had a great time.

The hotel is so beautiful and located in a lovely part of torquay with easy access to restaurants and the marina. The spa is immaculate and facilities were top notch. When we arrived we were greeted by a duty manager named Leo and it was honestly the best welcome after a long drive. I arranged a bottle of fizz for our room to celebrate a birthday and Leo had it all arranged nicely in the room just before we arrived. Big kudos to him for his impeccable customer service.

The first room we stayed in had a leaky ceiling which awoke us in the early morning and was less than ideal however the staff very kindly upgraded us to a much bigger room. Both rooms we stayed in were non refurbished rooms and although they were pleasant they were a bit outdated and there was some mould in the bathrooms. Finally, the spa facilities are available until check out which is outlined however it would be nice to let the guests stay in the spa a bit longer if the room is vacated.

A very warm welcome from staff on arrival, an attractive and comfortable apartment close to the hotel with own private outside space, spa facilities were excellent and evening meals were tasty in the bar area and the breakfast was very good. The hotel is set in attractive grounds in a peaceful residential area.

We would have visited the main restaurant for an evening meal, but it would have meant paying for three courses even if these weren't consumed. If there had been an option to take just two of the courses at a lower price, this would have been more appealing for us.

Breakfast is always excellent at this hotel with a good variety of options on offer. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Spa is excellent. Nice vibe around the hotel and bar / restaurant area.

I do think that this hotel is becoming a bit too expensive (we have stayed here regularly for several years) and there doesnt seem to be any discounts or offers for loyalty. I do not expect to have to pay extra for car parking when already paying quite a hefty fee.

The spa was very pleasant, the pool was clean and a reasonable size, the buffet breakfast options where among the best Ive every had.. nice pastries.. granola and greek yogurt, various fruit and vegetable or fruit smoothies and juices The staff were all very friendly AND helpful and I got a sense that the hotel encouraged a certain diversity in their staff... It made me feel I was being served by individuals rather than corporate clones... very refreshing!!

I was surprised at the poor quality of the cooked breakfast.. This was the vegetarian or full english breakfast The buffet was lovely however and the other options were great, And that made the cooked breakfast even more surprising.. I didnt complain, becuase it would have seemed churlish given the overall quality of the offerings

The place itself was amazing,good location and close to the beach and city centre, the view from our window was precious.

Everything was good and we had a great time apart from being forgotten twice and not receiving our order. After 20 minutes waiting for two teas we gave up and asked were is our order?second time we ordered a cocktail and again never received it 😑. A very huge welcome to David who served us on our last evening and we were looked after really well 😀 he went that extra mile to make us feel special.
