This was the last part of our stay around Plymouth. The first two nights had been disappointing. Rooms by Pierre Bistro more than made up for them. I am not exaggerating when I say that it was perfect. In particular, I can not praise the staff highly enough. They were attentive, funny and interesting to chat with, and incredibly efficient. The food was fabulous. It was a superb breakfast, and the evening meal (try the pork medallions!) was really tasty for the price. The room was beautifully presented and felt very special. Everything on the site was immaculately well kept. I can't recommend this stay enough. We rarely do return stays, but this will be one of the exceptions.

Nothing!

bed was comfortable, bathroom was nice although the tap in the sink wobbled

there was no space to keep clothes. no wardrobe or chest of drawers, not even a hook on the back of the door for a damp coat. the only drawers in the room were very small and we had to put our jumpers on the shelf under the tv. we borrowed some coat hangers and hung clothes from the wooden pegs in the bedroom. when we asked a member of staff if there was anything that could be done he just said that we should have looked at the pictures online properly! there was no possibility of moving us to a room with storage.

Location, ambience building. I loved it so much last year I wanted to visit again.

More options for breakfast. It would be nice to have more veg or vegan substitutes available or an alternative to bacon/ pork. It's a shame you removed the omlette from the menu. One of my pillows was not clean. I stayed in room 14. Please ensure cleaners inspect the pillows properly. I wish you had put my mum on the ground floor as requested. LG was really not that accessible. It would have also been nice if we were on the same floor having booked two rooms.

Our room was beautiful. It overlooked the garden and I loved the shutters on the windows. Everywhere has been beautifully restored and we were told that each room is unique. The bathroom was a very good size, with a lovely big walk in shower. The bed was very comfortable, but I personally found the pillows a little too soft (my husband thought they were ok though). I like that you're given a voucher for free parking, although you might not get close to the rooms as it's a very popular car park. There is, however, a little turning area where you can drop your bags off. Be aware, however, that check-in is in the bistro opposite the rooms and you'll need to check in first to get the front door key. Breakfast was in the bistro and there was a good choice of food. All of the staff who we met were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again.

Well...i will tell you that this place was amazing!! A 10+++. My hubby and I planned an impromptu road trip and saw this place on Booking.com Neither of us had been to Plymouth and reviews looked great so we choose this place. I just can't put in to words how beautiful and unexpected this area/hotel/restaurants was...choose it and I promise you won't be disappointed. I am from Northern California and we live in Savannah Georgia and spend 5 months a year in Lincolnshire...we travel, and this place is a hidden gem! Book it!

Well-decorated, comfortable room. Good breakfast. Friendly, welcoming staff.

The restrictions on the location meant that when we arrived, at around 21.00, the kitchens had closed and staff had had to wait around to provide us with the key to our room. We made our arrival time clear at the time of booking but had to confirm it a second time to make sure the keys were available. It would have been nice to have been offered the opportunity to order some food or drink in the light of the time they knew we would be arriving at.

History of the building and the clever way old and new has been combined. The neutral colours were calming. The view was relaxing and it was clean and inviting. The convenience of the restaurant was perfect! All the food was excellent and the service was great. Lisa was attentive and went that extra mile with a smile, nothing too much trouble.

We asked for more coffee pods and were told housekeeping will provide 3 in the morning as we get 3 a day? Two people in the room, so why 3 and not 4 pods, and why could we not be given 2 that night 🤔 We would off happily paid but felt like it was a rule not to be broken. My sister asked Mathew at the bar. But this is a minor dislike. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay.

The room was full of character and in a great location for what we wanted. Car parking was included in the price which isn't the case with all Royal William Yard choices. Enjoyed a lovely breakfast in the main restaurant - possibly the best scrambled egg on toast I've ever enjoyed. The bed and bedding was amazing - so much so that we've ordered some for home from the supplier shown on the labels. Staff in the restaurant we really friendly and access to the room was easy 24/7

The room was a bit cold. We mentioned this at breakfast on the first night and were told that the boiler should kick in when the temperature drops below 21C. It was 18C and no heating. I suspect there is a fault with the heating - a shame as it took the edge off what would otherwise have been a truly excellent stay.

Lovely room . Very clean and large. Overlooked the green on ground floor . Was quite noisy until restaurants shut and early am when they emptied bottle bank. Plenty of tea, coffee, biscuits and free bottled water. Pretty free private garden. Great breakfast . Plenty of choice and very nice staff. Free parking near hotel. Special mention to the lovely room cleaner.

Plugs - none near bed Keyhole for room 5. Knack to open it. If you didn't get 1st time it took several attempts. Very akward with bags/ children . Could be noisy once resturants closing and early am when they emptied bottle banks

I stay at Rooms by BP regularly for work - over 10 to 15 times now! The hotel (house really) is stylish, comfortable and surrounded by lots of good places to eat in Royal William Yard (RWY). The Barbican / town centre is approx. a 25 minute walk or 5mins by taxi / car. I really like that free parking and breakfast is included in the price. Staff are great and the breakfast selection I think is good. It has an upmarket house feel rather than a standard chain hotel and the setting in RWY is really nice. Top tip is in the Summer (or if you're brave, in the winter!) use the archway to the left of the house (50 meters away) to go through the RWY wall to the sea and the natural sea pool - take your swimming gear and go for a dip (lots of the locals do) - much better than a boring standard hotel pool!

Nothing.
