Me and my partner was lucky enough to have an early check in (two hours before check in time) free of charge. The room was "oldie worldie" with the wooden beams, beautiful. The bed was comfortable and the food in the restaurant, along with staff, where 10/10.

Two little issues. All channels on the TV wasn't available due to the manual aerial. The room was so hot to the point where sleep was disturbed. Simple fans available in the room would be absolutely ideal and may be worth looking at.

Great service and such a lovely location. It is such a welcoming hotel. Even in busy Christmas season the pub was excellent and even when busy staff were attentive. The bar manager (I presume) is exceptional and works more in one shift than staff I manage in a week. Breakfast that is included is well worth it. I would always add at the price.

In my room, bed wasn't as comfy as previous stays. That's the mattress, not the fault of the hotel per se. Gorgeous interior though, as always. There was also a banging noise on loop every 2-3 minutes throughout the night. I can only presume it was the window on the latch in the neighbouring room.

The atmosphere and decor around the whole premises was lovely and felt very homely. The food was very nice and you could tell that there was an emphasis on good food.

I had some issues with not receiving my pudding on one evening meal for 30 minutes, otherwise the food was lovely. I also felt the room wasn't as clean as it could have been, there were a couple of cobwebs that could've just done with wiping away before arrival.

Hats off to a lovely lady called Charlie who could not have done more for us and made us feel so welcome. Stayed in a beautiful courtyard room which was so tastefully decorated. Room was large, clean and the bed was the most comfortable. Charlie ensured we had everything we needed and sorted our table for dinner. Dinner in the evening was delicious. Love the style of the place, such a lovely standard. Breakfast was also perfect. Loads of free parking too. Would recommend this place and will certainly be back for longer i hope. Great distance to both Warwick and Stratford. Thank you

I don't believe they need to do anything to make it any better. The only thing i could think of was maybe a small fridge in the room.

The staff were efficient and friendly - particularly at breakfast - the young man on duty was particularly so. We enjoyed and appreciated the choices on offer - not just an all day breakfast!

Room 10 - the bathroom mirror needs to be more user friendly for both tall and shorter guests. Please change the central light lampshade - it actually lowers the brightness because of the wire plus sparkly effect. I appreciate old buildings and sash windows are difficult to maintain, but on a hot night, when the window would only open a short way, along with the bathroom window not opening at all, it was pretty hot and stuffy in the room

Spent too l long (as I'm choosy!) looking for the right accommodation for a family member airport drop off. Didn't fancy the soulless airport hotels so plumped for this as its only 7-9 min drive to airport and the large car park is free. Fabulous interior and lots of character whilst being very attractively designed in the main rooms and bedrooms. Had a single and double room, both were excellent. Window's opened which is always a bonus. Large ensuite shower rooms, the single had a double size shower too. Ate in the restaurant and the menu had excellent choice. Bed early as up early, left the window open as it was a warm night and the traffic is very light and didn't keep me awake. Left at 4am, leaving keys in the room, through a back door and then through the little door in the locked large gates - all clearly explained by the previous evening manager. Waitress in the restaurant was lovely and attentive too. Would definitely stay again for an early airport departure/drop off.

What wasn’t there to like?!!! We stayed in the down time when there wasn’t anything going on at the NEC so we got an amazing rate which included the most fabulous generous breakfast. The rooms and dining rooms are decorated to an exceptionally high standard and the staff were on the ball, friendly and really efficient. We had a delicious dinner and I thought everything was very reasonably priced even the more expensive wine. I honestly cannot more highly recommend this place - for fantastic value for money under £100 with breakfast for an adult and two kids - this is absolutely the best place I have stayed hands down!

nothing - for the price paid I was beyond delighted

The room was lovely. Very clean & we had a lovely overnight stay. Dinner was served by very friendly staff and was beautifully cooked & we both enjoyed our food. Breakfast was also very good.

One small niggle was that the shower in our room was quite small so my husband being 6ft found it a bit tight. We were only staying 1 night so it wasn't too much of a problem.

Room was comfortable. Bathroom modern and fresh looking. Staff were approachable and friendly. Everyone was happy to help and had a pleasant attitude. All checking in / out etc explained.

Lock on the door wasn't very secure. Everything else was fine. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment. Sometimes staff were noisy in the corridor chatting, but was fine as only for a couple of mins.
