Our stay at The Stables was perfect in every way. Kevin and Claire are excellent hosts - hugely accommodating, and helpful but also very respectful of giving you your own space. Thank you for the (very!) late check-in time on arrival due to our long journey. Breakfast was so easy and plentiful. They have a really easy system for breakfast, putting your used crockery in the tub which is placed outside, and then magically returns all clean later that day, along with any replenished food items requested! The bed was huge and very comfy. Spotlessly clean throughout (it looks brand new). All the home comforts you could hope for. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Stayed for 2 nights to visit Belvoir castle a 10 min drive away. It a beautiful tiny village 5 mins walk from a pub serving great food. Place was spotless and very welcoming. Very comfortable bed with quality linen and towels provided. We love the way they provide you with a big range of continental breakfast things in the room so you can just have what you want whenever you want it with out the hassle of getting dressed to go to a dining room. There were 6 different types of cereal, bread, marg and butter, jam, marmalade, Nutella, 2 different types of fruit juice, milk, tea, coffee and a range of yoghurts and fresh fruit - just for 2 of us. You put your dirty dishes in a large plastic box outside the room on a morning when you go out and they are magic when you return. If you’re staying longer you can have items replenished And if we had wanted something specific we could have asked in advance. It sounds odd but it really works and we loved it. I really can’t recommend this place enough and would love to go back.

Hosts very accommodating - great selection of cerals, spreads and fruit. Juice and milk. Bread. Good selection of hot drinks. Beds very comfy.

The property looked over to the main house and despite having blinds and them advising us that they had blinds shut so not to overlook, it still felt strange. There was no sink - hosts took and returned all washing up but it might have been nice to have a sink unit. No iron and ironing board.

We stayed there for two nights and it was all perfect - Claire is very friendly, the room is very nice, the bed was comfy (I didn't ask the kids how the sofa bed was but they didn't complain so I guess it was fine...). Everything you need for breakfast & fruit was provided and we could have breakfast in the room. Used dishes could be put in a box and were brought back cleaned (the only sink is in the bathroom) - great service!

Maybe I didn't look hard enough but I missed a proper cloth to wipe the table after breakfast. But that is a very minor thing :-)

The property was exceptionally clean, bed was very comfortable with lovely white bed linen, the property was well equipped , a great pub just a short walk away. The hosts Kevin and Claire made us most welcome not forgetting Barney their dog! We would highly recommend their property as met all our needs.

Exceptionally clean and well kept. Bed was extremely comfortable. The quilt, cushions and even the towels were of a great quality. Hosts couldn't do enough and communication was fantastic from booking to our arrival. Area is lovely and the quaint local pub around the corner adds to the charm.

The only thing we noticed is that there was no wardrobe to hang items, only draws. As we were staying two days only, this didnt affect us, but maybe for longer staying guests it may be an issue. But this honestly was the only thing, the stay was excellent.

DIY continental breakfast, didn’t check that during booking , personally I prefer English breakfast occasionally ,also there was a terrible smell of manure probably coming from local farms, but not with in the room ,guess it’s only in spring ,

The room was spacious and the bed and sofa were comfortable. Although the shower room was tight it had a large shower cubicle. The removal and return system for used pots was very efficient. The outside seating area was good with a pretty view down the owner's garden. The owners were very friendly and the precautions they were taking regarding Covid were very reassuring. What a lovely place! We would certainly return and recommend to family and friends.

The shower head particularly and shower fixings could have done with a clean.

Great find - a lovely set up and probably the cleanest property we have booked using booking.com. Can't fault this place and the local village pub was a pleasant surprise, along with the area which we visited for a sporting event but ended up having a scout around as well. Lovely hosts and the food items supplied make a huge difference when you don't want to have the hassle of shopping. Plus they were the perfect choice. Beds super comfortable for a lovely night's sleep!

This is just a suggestion because we felt the property exceeded any expectations - a cafetiere added to the shelf.

A lovely, comfortable and peaceful B&B in the Vale of Belvoir. The stables is a beautifully converted, large room comprising of a sitting area, kitchenette, and bedroom. An ensuite shower and toilet compliment the accommodation. Decor is very tasteful. This is a very quiet location, we slept wonderfully. The hosts Claire and Kevin were very welcoming as was Barney the dog! A good selection for breakfast consisting of high quality granola and muesli along with the traditional cereals. Yogurt and bread for toasting with a selection of jams was welcome. Harby is lucky to have a super pub The Nags Head, we had one of our best pub meals ever, on our final night. The pub is within a 5 minutes walk. We can really recommend The Stables and certainly will return
