Location. Only a gentle ten minutes walk max. from Oxford Street Station. Right next to some fab restaurants and chinatown. Ate at Sushi Mami just over the road from the hotel on Portland Street (5 for scores on the doors and excellent reviews online when we went). We also had a couple of walks at night to get some funky drinks (boba beads in drinks are dd favourite atm) from Chatime. On the other side we had St Peter's square and trams with access over most of Manchester. We love Novotel hotels due to having a room for our small family of three. Comfy beds.

Not a lot. Bit of a problem with the room due to water, but we were swift moved to another room as it was too late for maintenance team to sort and given drinks vouchers. Not enough pillows. Just one each and a spare in the wardrobe.

Very good Location, close to tram station, train station, bus station and a bus stop. Hotel staff was extremely helpful. One of the hotel staff suggested me where to buy the local SIM card and also helped me to setup the local sim card. Another staff suggested me where to take the National Express and showed me the way for Bus station. Have to appreciate them..!! Room was neat and clean. We enjoyed our stay in Novotel

For the cost we paid, I felt they should have included breakfast as well. As I have seen their competitors esp. Holiday Inn providing the breakfast (in many locations within UK for the same price). Other than that I don't have any other suggestion - All good.

Lovely clean, modern room with great facilities, such as the fridge, hairdryer, powerful shower and toiletries, TV, kettle and tea making kit and lighting all over the room depending on whether you were in bed reading, using the kettle or mirror area or general room use. Two separate beds for my older children (plenty of room to move them opposite sides of the room for their own space etc). Everything was clean, enough space and storage. Breakfast is brilliant, perfectly cooked, hot and provided everything that we required.... maybe some chocolate spread for pancakes ( my daughter wanted some) they may have been there and we did not spot it or were out of stock, did not ruin it though, we enjoyed it all! Love the decor in the dining room too! We have been before and would come again!

Although it was great to be able to heat the room, we were unsure if and how to cool it down, maybe some instructions near the dial, or if not possible providing a fan, gets very warm with 4 bodies! But still a comfortable sleep! Maybe an extra pillow in the cupboard :)

The room wasn't enormous but it was super comfortable for me and my two kids. We very much appreciated having the two single beds fo the kids as well as the double bed for me, and I haven't come across this possibility in other hotels. We had no problems with noise, and we're all sensitive sleepers. The meal at the bar/restaurant was fantastic.

I was disappointed that there is no deal with the QPark so we had to pay 32 GBP for the overnight parking. The wi-fi worked ok but it was not particularly speedy, so not great for watching vids in the room.

I thought the cereal choice was poor - in our opinion Rice Crispies and Coco Pops are low quality, high sugar products. There was no muesli, Bran Flakes, Shredded Wheat. We were give a sachet of gluten free muesli, which does not taste the same. All the other hotels we have stayed at have had Alpen muesli.

The bottom sheets on the single beds were folded up double sheets - not wide enough to tuck in properly. We asked for proper single sheets, and the housekeeping staff provided them.

was really nice and welcoming. the room itself was really nice! perfect for what we needed! lots of room too didn’t feel boxed in. loved how central it was everything we needed was walking distance

the electrics (this may not be in every room) but in our room the electrical plugs and cable sockets near the window didn’t work. so had to plug phone in somewhere else. but it was manageable it didn’t put us out of way or anything. I wouldn’t say I hated it just something that could be fixed

Great Location, loved the convenience of being able to use what’s app to contact reception and order things like room service. Our room was lovely and clean. There was a good size mini fridge which is handy for storing drinks and snacks as a family of 4. Staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. Location was great a 10 minute walk from all the shops and restaurants if you know which route to take. Main entrances are locked at night and there is staff on the door which is reassuring in city centres especially when there’s questionable people hanging around outside.

Took nearly 50 minutes to get a reply about room service. Apart from that brilliant stay!

We had a very good stay at the Manchester Center Novotel, and considering the location and the quality of the facilities the price was very reasonable. We stayed in the executive room as it wasn't much more than a regular room and the extra space / living area was a really welcome touch. All bedding, towels, dressing gowns were spotless and room was very clean which is extremely important. Shower was very big and powerful which I loved. Lots of nice little touches such as coffee machine, slippers, toiletries. Overall, a very clean, modern and comfortable room. Breakfast... exceptional! The best "chain hotel" breakfast I've had, everything cooked perfectly. Parking... the hotel uses the "Q park" underground car park located directly beneath the hotel, we arrived around 5pm on a Friday and we were very lucky to get a space, there were cars driving around hoping for a space, so a space is not always guaranteed. Furthermore, even with the hotel discount that we received at check in, its £22.50 a night currently so for 2 nights it was £45 to park which is substantial but also not too bad for safe secure parking in the literal center of Manchester. On my next return to Manchester, I wouldn't hesitate to return to Center Novotel.

My only comments would be the shower drain seemed to empty a bit slow / is a bit blocked, and the cap covering the drain was loose. There also seemed to be no way to activate the extractor fans in the toilet / shower but perhaps I was just daft and couldn't figure it out. Also, TV remote batteries need changing!

The hotel was great location. Hotel was to a high standard in terms of decor. Room was great in terms of facilities such as mini fridge. Tv. Beds were very comfy and a good size for a standard room.

Only issue we had was our sink and shower did not work correctly. Diverter on shower was faulty and sink plug lever wouldnt work so when pushing plug in you couldnt then lift it back up. However reported to hotel and they were great. Sorted us a spare room so we could have a shower and get ready for the day. Also sorted us with a free complimentary breakfast as an apology which was great as we were going to pay for breakfast anyways. So all in all regardless of the issue it was resolved perfectly by the hotel.

Check in staff were friendly and the kids enjoyed the lolly bag they got when we checked in. Room was clean, bathroom well laid out. Restaurant had nice food, breakfast was good. The hotel is close to St Peters Square which made it easy to travel from.

No phones in the room to contact reception. It was difficult to order room service, and when we did they charged a fee to bring it to us. Our rooms were not made during the day and we came back to a room with no toilet paper, no tea/coffee/milk. Restaurant staff was very noisy later in the night. The sound was turned up way too loud on the TVs in the restaurant area - made it very hard to hear each other.
